  1. Yes but geordie scum followed by a smiley face, sounds alot more likely banter, unlikes commenting on how dull and empty someones ground and football is,
that's not banter, thats just belittling somebody.

Ranger has a great attitude on the pitch, works hard. It just seems he has a slight problem of the pitch, which he seems to have worked on.

I dont see why his attitude and life off the pitch is such an issue? As long as he's on time to training and is as professional as the rest of them then why doesnt he start? The England team is full of people with a much worse attitude than him.

As for the loan, it would be great for him next season IMO if we buy 2 good strikers with our Carroll money, when he wouldnt get much of a look in anyway.

But from what Pardew has been saying he isn't on time to training or acting professionally.

Said his timekeeping's been fine, only late once since he took over I remember reading. How unprofessional can you look in training with a number of other young lads who are your mates though? I wonder what he does.

That's right mate, but he has improved his time keeping and attitude is a lot better. I'm hoping to reward this by giving him more minutes, but he'll have to wait his turn. He's been unlucky really because he's come to the club at a time when we have real strength up front. Leon and Shola aren't gonna give their places away easily, and while they're absolutely raping defences I have no choice but to keep playing them.

But Ranger's name keeps cropping up in interviews with Pardew in terms of his professionalism, so he's surely doing something wrong. Lovers was recently talking about him in an interview harping on about his potential, but as people have been saying again and again, he needs to keep his head down and work hard etc. He's got massive potential this lad, but it'll be a crying shame if he blows it and doesn't reach the best of his abilities.

You can take a horse to water etc.......
