Sorry my friend, should I be telling other posters to **** off or having a moan because people think I'm pessimistic?

I think this game is definately winnable and I have a positive feeling for it. Recent games with Chelsea have been close but we have not got much to show for it. I think fortune will turn tomorrow - can't wait !

Definitely, we had a real chance at beating them both in the cup and in the league more recently!

Simply - I'm looking forward to tonight - We have a fair chance of getting points, despite Chelsea's recent run. The atmosphere should be great.

What a game we will have in store tonight. It is DEFINATELY winnable for us, they have 2 players that would cause us problems in Mata and Ramires. If these 2 play and play well then they will score. If Senderos plays instead of Hughes then they will score.

However, with Hughes and Hangeland partnered then we have the capacity to deal with Drogba or Torres, Riise will need to be sharp to keep an eye on Sturridge. Kelly will have to be at his best if we are to keep Mata quiet. We have more than enough going forward and I think if we get 1 then more will follow. They will try and mark Demps out of the game so it will be up to the others around him to be making forward runs, partiularly Duff and Kaca if he plays. I think Davies may feature at some point though and Murph's will start and Diarra will come on.

Should be a brilliant game of footie, the atmosphere will be electric and I am still going with 2 - 1 to us. Hopefully 3 in a row for me, predicted both Norwich and Bolton score, so fingers crossed.

OK, so that's the Froggy score predicted, Murphy starts, MJ keeps with Hughes, and Mrs Captain's biscuits go on-hold 'til the final whistle. 2-1 will do nicely.

Nobody but me gets to hold Mrs Captain's biscuits, but 2-1 would indeed do nicely. Hell, I'd take 1-0 with a scrappy offside goal scored off Ruiz's walking stick!

I stated Bolton would roll us over....I think Chelsea will do the same. I enjoy being wrong.

This will be the only game I'm not rooting for Torres to score. Almost certain he will bang in a hat-trick today.

All the pressure on Chelsea. But no chance of us conceding a hat-trick to Torres.
A 2-1 win will put us up to 8th. Then stay there if Blackburn hold Liverpool.

Pogrebnyak still doubtful so up-front should be interesting.
Terry, Lampard and Cole doubtful for them.

Swap Kacaniklic for Frei and I agree with that.

Kaca was injured towards the end of the Bolton game. Clutching his hamstring in tiredness about a minute before he was subbed. We need fresh legs to cause more mayhem.

    Here's the official line up:

    Schwarzer
    Kelly
    Riise the Elder
    Hangeland
    Hughes
    Murphy
    Diarra
    Frei
    Duff
    Dembele
    Dempsey

Frei rather than Kacaniklic and Murphy partners Diarra - the opposite of what I expected. Fortunately Martin Jol knows far more about the game than I do. COYW!
