Mancini dropped a huge clanger yesterday by not substituting him, the sending off was too long in coming.

Maybe intentional? That way all eyes on Balotelli and not the crap tactics shown in last few months by a quivering manager

    Fair point!

Balotelli is a brilliant character, lets be honest, we all grinned at the ridiculous stories that circulate about him - the only issue is, we run the risk of losing another player through injury etc. BECAUSE of Balotelli and that wouldn't be fair or just...Its a tricky situation!

Extremely talented and we've probably only seen half of what he is capable of he has a screw or two loose. Whether we'll ever get to see the other half is hard to say. My guess in time yes, but you could be waiting two or three years and he might be in jail by then.

That tackle needs a 3 game ban, add that to his red card and he's out the rest of the season anyway.

Ship him out asap I'd say, though Mancini will probably be out on his ear before him ...

I reckon he could go to somewhere like Ahnzi. They'll offer him 200k a week and a chance to play arab Russian football.

He may not go back to Italy, one of the reasons he left was due to the amount of racist abuse he got - part of the reason he may be so 'highly strung' - so it's not nailed on he'd go back there. Maybe he'll end up going to Spain, although I think as long as Mancini stays at City, so will Balotelli.

If Mourinho gets the job though, he'd be out on his ear.

Overall though, I do feel sorry for him slightly, he's the media scapegoat for Man City's failure, and there were numerous players worse than him yesterday. However, he's a nutter, and is a drain on any manager's time and patience.

The man needs a good old fashioned hiding. That will level him out a bit and don't give me the violence doesn't solve anything because in truth we all know it does.

Balotelli will be gone says Mancini... just like he said Tevez would never play again whilst he was the manager!

If Manchester City don't sack Mancini following a trophyless season, it will be a miracle.

Mario Balotelli is sadly a typical reflection of a modern footballer - far too wealthy, bad tempered, over-rated and a total egotist. He's too stupid to realise how lucky he is, but too rich to ever really consider it.

He should be banned as the rules dictate and then banned further for that horror tackle that the ref 'did not see'.
