From all indications, most Liverpool supporters believe that the way forward is for Kenny Dalglish to step down as Liverpool manager. It is now up to Kenny to do the most homourable thing and resign at the end of the season.Winning the cups not sufficient,it's the title the supporters are craving for.We are all disappointed for Kenny Dalglish that it does not work out.
Yes, I think your right. Kenny will always be a legend and a king around here though. So if/ when he goes, lets sing him out on a high. I'd like him to carry on working with the club, either as an ambassador, scout or director. Though he should maybe distance himself from the touchline for a little while.
And where did you come up with that analysis...? The simple fact is, if we had a striker we wouldn't be in this position. Sacking the manager after one full season stinks of Chelsea, something I do not want to see happen at Liverpool. IMO, Kenny deserves a crack at another season.
I agree with this, one full season is not enough for a manager to build up a successful team for the future.
you wanted new owners, you got new owners.you wanted kenny to replace roy,you got that. you wanted investment, you got that......now look at where you are.
Kenny is not a bad manager but he has been given a squad of over priced cack to work with, there lays the problem.
What happened to Spurs, since Harry decided to take the England job your form has been awful. Will the better players leave for bigger clubs in the summer, should be plenty of takers for the likes of Modric, Bale, Defoe, Lennon, Adebayor etc. Would not mind seeing Bale in the famous red.
Must hurt being a saints fan, small club, **** fans. Only ever had one decent player. Matt 'the hat' Le Tissier. Might get promoted this year, and will most likely go straight back down. <rubbish>
Again, same story, all the same over and over. We should have scored 3 or 4 goals, could have had a pen may be and of course the wood work more than once. Finishing Finishing Finishing. We weren't that great but created enough to win the game. United beat several teams this season not creating half the chances we have but they take their chances. Kenny needs to stay and some players need to go. Preferably ones that cannot find the net. Auld Luis and Andy should have 40+ goals between them this season on chances had,
^^Agree with this, Kenny deserves at least one more season with the proviso that we sign players other than British!
Baz, you do show your ignorance at times and come across as an arrogant glory hunter. To name a few: Shearer Le Saux Ball Channon Shilton And of course Redknapp, Grobberlaar and Keegan
and i have been slated for being negative in previous posts!!!!! getting rid off kk is not the answer, but getting a 20 plus goals a season striker is,and that is just for starters. my god we have have had some bad luck this season and yesterday only proved that point i,e the save that given made which was clearly behind the line from kuyt. so sorry getting rid off kk is not the answer.
It's hard to say, a lot depends on the remaining games. We can't keep blaming 'luck', when the chips are down you need to make your own luck, and for me hitting the woodwork isn't unlucky, it's a miss. We have players who can score, we have defenders who can defend, but we seem to have capitulated and are on a certain-relegation form. Yes we've had injuries, but so has every team, their's only so many times you can use luck as an excuse. Before this awful run we were all still getting frustrated at our home form, draws to teams like Norwich, Swansea etc. It's not like we were amazing at the time. Progress is something I use a lot on this board, and we had progressed, it's 2 steps forward and 3 steps backwards. At the end of the day results speak, and 2 wins out of 13 is not good enough. Now I'm not saying we haven't been unlucky, I'm also not saying we haven't been on the end of some bad ref decisions. But it has been our own downfall, we've showed no belief and no character and no spirit, the 3 things any Liverpool team has to show. When we go one nil down who here honestly thinks "Right, we can still win this"? Certainly not me. ..And with all that said, I still want Kenny to stay. As I've said countless times, we need to trust his experience and trust him to learn from his mistakes. He's our manager, we was all happy with him before the bad run, we can't just sack some one when the chips are down, who are we, Chelsea? Right now we need to get behind the club and show some support instead of calling every player, director of football, Manager all to be sacked or dropped or injured or whatever. We're all disappointed and angry with recent results, but we need to pull together in the right direction.
