I was really impressed with Coulthard, he sounded like he'd been doing it for years.

I prefer Brundle as analyst, there were times where you could tell he was reading from a script, he didn't seem as natural or as comfortable as he usually does. I think he'll grow into the different role though.

Well I thought it was quite good actually. Much much better then Legard. It'll take some time to get used to hearing Brundle talk so much.

I had my doubts about Coulthard, but he wasn't bad.

I agree completely, much much better than JL and his "wuffs!!". and I didn't hear any RB bias from DC, which is one of the things I was concerned with

I didn't notice much of a difference, which is a good thing!

To be honest I dont even remember Coulthard doing the commentary, so for me he obviously didnt stand out too much. Ill pay more attention for the race though, thats if im not buzzing from too much coffee ;)

I thought they were both brilliant. I was really impressed with Coulthard spotting the damage on Hamilton's car. Brundle seemed a lot more relaxed, like his normal self but talking more.

They were great. I would have liked a bit more about the running order, sector times and strategies as the F1 live timing was broken.

A much better rapport going on, if maybe a bit too buddy-buddy?

Will reserve judgement for a few more races but certainly better to listen to than the last few seasons based on this first effort.

Today the commentary team worked very well together, and Coulthard was just brilliant.

    Post race:

Very pleased, good flow throughout and they seem to blend together well, no shouting over each other :)

Very good commentary, Brundle needs to get into 1st commentator role though, hasn't been there before, but he will get there. He seems much more relaxed with DC, and the commentary flows, like with Brundle/Walker and Brundle/Allen. Maybe a little to technical for new fans/younger viewers, but still very good. One thing I'd like to see is them taking the mick out of each other, like the Moto GP. They were ex-drivers so it should be fun o listen to!

Did anyone see the banter between EJ and DC on the forum?

EJ: Red Bull have just won the race and they haven't pulled a curtain in front of the garage.
DC: That's because there's no cars in it.

    Really cracked me up.
