    Carroll for Downing or Downing for Carroll must be our most common substitution this season. I thought Downing was bought to get the best out of Carroll but they never seem to be on the pitch at the same time.

    Also why take Shelvey off? His movement in their half was far better than Henderson and he was at least contributing to attacking moves.

    I accept Hendo was sitting deeper out of the 3, but 0-1 at home with 25mins left, I don't really care about having a holding midfielder.

    Does kenny have a clue or is he simply far superior to all of us with tactics...?

    Whenever Carroll plays Downing is either on the right or not on the pitch at all. It's a joke. This is testing my patience.

    Yeah, can't understand this. Kuyt and Henderson were the men who should've been taken off. It was plain as day, that. Kenny's subs are absolutely ludicrous at times.
