    Am I alone in having an ultra confident feeling going into every match these days?

    I mean it wasn't long ago that I would almost look at the fixture list with dread... thinking 'where will we scrape our next points from'....
    Now I look and think.... where will we next DROP points?... and am left scratching my head.

    There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance and we've had so many false dawns before to not get carried away but it's a great feeling to have and one I've missed quite frankly.

    Only time will tell where we end up at the end of the season but for me... whatever the outcome I've enjoyed the ride this year more than most recent seasons I can remember.

    Here's to the finishing line... and hopefully more dreams of those famous European nights on Tyneside.

    Don't think my liver can cope with us keeping this up. Rough as hell today. I must admit I've been very confident going into our last few games. Dreamland at present.

    Aye but when its a win you can't help but have a few more as spirits are high. 4 wins in a row with two home games and a trip to Wigan to follow soon means if football was simple I could be running a health risk! Looking forward to every game at present. Even if we lost every game between now and the end of the season I would be pleased with how we've played.
