Has anyone else who watched the Liverpool game and the Swansea game noticed Chris Coleman being constantly negative about us? I can't thînk of any but we don't have a history with him do we? He may just be a miserable old man mind!

When I saw who started this thread I had to read it twice because I was so sure it was going to be Mr Tiote <laugh>

I'm trying to work out why our last 5 games have all been on Sky.

As for Coleman, I spend halftime blocking out what any pundits say playing guitar at annoyingly loud volumes...

I don't know if it's coleman are not, but there's this irish/scottish guy that always picks the negatives out of our games.

Says "they got that goal from a misshit", "oh that';s terrible defending from that center back to let Ba in"

    **** like that.

Yeh it is curious how we have been on sky for all of our games lately... (not that I'm complaining)
We seem to win when we are on tv aswell!

Never thought I would say this aswell but Mr Neville is becoming my preferred commentator!<doh>

Coleman is Welsh. He was the 'Swansea man' in the studio whereas Rob Lee was there as the 'Newcastle man'.

I'm sure Sky have a bunch of pundits who don't like us and save them up for when ever we're on. When have you ever seen Coleman as a pundit when the Sky football didn't involve us

From what I saw Coleman seemed to be complimentary about us, as for the guy who Tash is talking about its Ray Houghton on talksport, remember him complaining when Ireland got to the 2002 World Cup because Andy O'Brien got selected instead of some Celtic player. O'Brien was a regular for a team that had just finished 4th.

Worst pundit in the world. There's chimps with a better understanding of football than him. Honest to God, chimps.

Plus don't forget, Coleman admitted that he's a lifelong Bin Dippers fan...So could you imagine your two closest sides being beaten consecutively...

Still can't believe Ashley sacked him and brought in Pardew though, as 400 people who couldn't spell Hughton once posted.

Ray Houghton - ex-villa, liverpool player (and proxy Irishman)

Not Chris Hughton, who i would expect to be fairly complimentary about us as he seemed to like the players, fans and place. Just was judged by the people that be to not be up to the job.

To be honest I thought all three including our own Rob Lee were shocking yesterday in how little credit we got for our season so far, and in yesterdays match for a professional disciplined performance. Excellent execution of the tactics. Its difficult against Swansea as they do keep the ball. But they threatened very little.

The bit which was a joke was them trying to say Cisse miscontrolled Cabayes pass for the 2nd, and moreorless fluked the finish. I thought "can none of you spot class when it is right in front of you"

I've noticed this about Coleman too! I think it might be a combination of being a welsh 'pool fan and having a little resentment to seeing a manager - who not so long ago was at the same level as himself - being so surprisingly successful. Made one or two negative comments about AP in the last couple games.

    Ahh doh!!

I sometimes can't tell when people are joking on here, partly because of the lack on intonation but mostly because some people take it so seriously i'm concerned if i assume they're joking i'll have my head bitten off :)
