Everton or Liverpool? - Who do you want to win the semi?

Now a few weeks ago I think the answer to this question would have been pretty obvious to all Newcastle fans but you face Everton on the last day of the season so they could well be suffering from a Cup Final hangover which would surely improve your chances of beating them and maybe getting top 4?

I would think if you win your next 3 games (as you should) you'd be certain for 5th (at worst).

 

Liverpool because it would pretty much Guarantee Europe, and also since we've got our target we can aim for 5th place or maybe CL. We might as well. We'd already have Europe bagged, so we might as well reach for the stars.

 

I hate Liverpool, but want them to win this one

 

Liverpool, because it guarantees us Europe. If Everton win though I hope they go all the way, Moyes deserves a trophy.

 

Absolutely Liverpool, I like Everton a lot x1000 more than them but if they win we've got one foot in Europe and we'd have to have a real disaster not to get there. Wouldn't mind seeing Liverpool lose every game after that though just because I hate Dalglish so much for sabotaging this football club and get huge schadenfreude from seeing him fall flat on his face.

 

It's tough for me. I'd really love to see Moyes win a trophy and we've a good chance of 5th (possibly 4th) but for peace of mind, sadly, it'd have to be Liverpool that got through.

 

Liverpool. Its easy for me to say that i think we deserve europe but if i had to bet on it i'd have us finishing 6th and missing out on Europe if Everton get to the final. With all due respect to the teams involved i think whoever wins the Merseyside derby semi-final is just going to be getting a runners-up medal anyway.

 

This. As I say think we'll finish 6th and if we are to finish higher we have to avoid defeat at Chelsea.

 

We need Liverpool to win but I'm certain Everton will win, we will finish 6th and not get into europe. This would be very unlucky, however that's it I'm afraid everyone.

We will have to hope we finish 5th.

 

My hatred for the Liverpool runs too deep for this one..... Everton win and we get a European spot the hard way pls.

I'm not sure.

I'm worried that we might take our foot off the gas if Europe is virtually guaranteed by Liverpool winning. I'd rather we had a reason to keep pushing and maybe take advantage of that outside chance of 4th.
