Hats off to Pardew. Spot on with his tactics. The team weren't the only one having a bit of a bad time mid-season, Pardew was a little bit off with his tactics in some games, but during most games in the season, Pardew's tactics and the way he's organised the team, has been fantastic. I hate the ****e that people spout about Pardew sometimes, saying he's tactically inept. Sometimes he has to take risks and sometimes he gets it wrong. He's been brilliant for most of the season. Howay Pardew!

Not an amazing performance, but a solid one. We did our job, frustrated Swansea, and showed the world that Swansea are quite over hyped. Their possessions counts for **** all if they create little with it. And they were desperate defensively sometimes against the runs of Cisse, Ba and Ben Arfa.

    Ratings -

Krul - 7 - Not too much to do, but maintained his concentration and stayed calm and composed. Made some crucial stops.

    Simpson - 7 - Good performance.

Willo - 7.5 - Some silly moments, but all round solid.

Perch -8 - Solid. Some great interceptions and clearances with his head and feet.

Santon - 7 - Got done a few times, but he made some fantastic interceptions, and saved us a few times with his reactions and touches. Good performance.

Jonas - 7 - Won us some vital possession with good movement and forcing fouls.

Cabaye - 8 - Quiet at times, but his two assists were ****ing beautiful. He gets stick at times from fans for being a passenger and being inconsistent, but in most of his games, he will provide some fantastic passes that can decide games. He also worked hard in defence and played a part.

Tiote - 6 - Played a vital role in our game in the first half. Another injury ffs. He desperately needs the summer to rest and get himself fit again. He's been playing with knocks all season.

Raylor - 4 - One of his worst performances. Sloppy passes. Some decent defending some good balls at times, but overall, not very good.

Gosling - 1 - Didn't see him do much other than one good tackle.

Ferguson - 6 - Did a canny job. Marked well, worked hard, did well.

Ba - 7 - Worked hard, did some good defending, got forward well at times, threatened. He needs a goal, and we need to give him a spell in the Cisse spot. He wont be happy being a support player long term.

Cisse - 9 - Fantastic. He's proven that he's not just an instinctive striker. He can finish when he has time to think and also when he has no time to think. He's the best finisher we've had since Shearer IMO.

Ben Arfa - 7 - Quiet for parts, but some great play, played his part in the build up, just didn't quite work for him at times. Howay Hatem.

Overall - Tactics spot on. Cabaye has been the best he's been since the first half of the season since we've adopted this 4-3-3 formation. He's been given a bit of freedom, and he's still putting in a great shift, showing great endurance and playing some beautiful, vital passes.

Hopefully we wont do the typical Newcastle thing and lose the next two home games. I'm not saying they'll be easy, we've made a bit of a habit of having two winnable home games in succession only claiming 1-2 points.

We cannot be complaicant vs Stoke and Bolton. Bolton have looked lively recently, and are starting to perform in the majority of their games. Stoke are never without a goal threat.

Hopefully we can make it 7 wins in a row. Bolton, Stoke and Wigan next before our last 3 tough games, and maybe finish 5th or higher! Who knows!

Just been on the Sunderland board. Syd saying Cisse offers little all round the pitch but scores goals...

****ing miserable old **** obviously hasn't watched him play. He was back defending and working hard all game.

    **** off Syd.

Raylor just come back so 4 is a bit harsh.
Don't know what it is about Gosling but I'm just waiting for him to balls things up.
Good to see Cisse willing to help out Santon.

ye u lot just lacked a bit of quality up top and at the back. Cisse took his chances well but was afforded too much space by your CB. you'll improve for next season though <ok>

lol a couple of the mackems there calling Jonas a con artist and stuff.

I find it funny because Jonas never dives. He goes down and exaggerates falls but that's because his shirt is pulled so much that he needs to go down to get the free kick.

He never dives, he's just good at showing when he's fouled.

Jonas = Too good lolololoolol :)

What did Chris Coleman do, I do know he's a lifelong Liverpool fan and was unhappy with Perchino's antics against Reina the other time, so maybe he had a score to settle, but I dunno..
And Tash, come on man, can't give Gosling a 1...though he did look gassed the moment he was subbed on, he won a free kick on the right when he had his throat chopped at least...and did work a bit in defence..lol

<ok> he does look a bit pissed off. Playing on the left's not helping.

We can afford to play 4-4-2 against Bolton. Get Ba in a more central role. If it doesn't work out, shift back to 4-3-3

I still can't fathom what Goslings done wrong in peoples eyes. Young player, just come back from serious injury, barely had a sniff so far, yet seems to be disliked by far too many keyboard warriors for all that. He's not been spectacular so far, but he's hardly had chance to do so.

Gosling's just the latest scapegoat. Under Pardew I predict he'll come good. probably early next season, if he's not sold in the summer
