great, the match is on sky <ok>

and dai, i cant find the article about graham now but if you go back on it you'd cringe at some stuff you said there, thankfully the more intelligent swans put you in your place but hey, footballs all aobut opinions....

i predict a 2-0 swans win, i think newcastle will run out of steam at some point....<ok>

Its already been said in this thread but the likes of Ba and Rooney have had goal droughts 7 for Ba ,and i can remember last season for Man u and England Rooney couldnt by a goal ( i was going to say he couldn't score in a brothel but we all know he can) but they are still ever present in their teams and i would keep going with Graham..lets be fair not even Messi and Ronaldo score every game

Apparently Graham is on the bench this afternoon with Sinclair.

For some reason people have failed to realise the reason were 6th is because we have some world class players. Don't get me wrong here but I think Swansea have a good team but we should win this match,

Hope Moore can chase a depleted Newcastle defense around & pressure them a bit , but I've me doubts . Hoping for the best but fearing the worst with Graham;s work ethic & aerial talents on the bench .

men against boys, i listened to the match on my head phones while in temby with the kids and i must agree with the commentator who said ..quote " this is so easy for newcastle they set up there defence and let swansea run around like headless chickens and pass the ball among themselves while newcastle are vertually walking waiting for a mistake. i hate to say anything bad about swansea but teams now know how to play against them and even with 78% possession at one point did not look like they would score, this was an easy win with not much to do for newcastle than sit back conserve energy and score on the break. this was not an entertaining game and i was quite bored with it. newcastle had it spot on..............well well vertually what i have been saying all along.......

I see you're a full time fan then that goes to games, dainumpty? 'In Tenby with the kids....' <laugh> Explains soooooo much.

But what you've 'been saying all along' is that Moore could do a better job than Graham. Er.........<laugh>

Typical part time fan that snipes from the sidelines. Pillock.

Fact is the Toon are now cementing their position as a top 6 side. I said earlier in the season that Pardew had more tactical nowse than others gave him credit for. I was laughed at by the likes of Norway but this has proved me right.

Cisse was the difference, end of.

Dai, you are a pillock at times.

You listen to a commentators opinion and automatically think it's 100% accurate. We played well. We had our usual possession, we passed the ball well, and all that made the difference was Cisse. The guy is a class act and a bargain at £10million.

As for dropping Graham.......Well, that really worked, didn't it.

Newcastle are a great side with some great players. I said all along I'd take a draw but wouldn't be dis-heartend with a loss. They are a top 6 side and we are in the PL for the first time.

You guys play some of the best football in the world. I am not exaggerating whatsoever as I watch more than just the PL. You need a plan B though. We knew what you were going to do so sat back and waited for mistakes (of which there were very few, we just capitalised on those rare occurences.) Truth is, you guys are a pleasure to have in the PL and you deserve your high position too. Just work on a plan B and you can move even higher up the table which would be amazing for "little old Swansea" as Rodgers put it!

That sums it up. There is no point having all that possession, getting to the edge of the box, and then going back to the halfway line (or further). If you don't put any MEANINGFUL shots on goal you aint going to score. The performance was like one from the Sousa era.

How stupid do you feel now??

If pointlessly keeping the ball 50 yards from you opponents goal for large periods of the game won you matches you would be running away with the title lol.

Brendan Rogers missus must be frustrated with him constantly tickling her tummy and never getting round to sticking it in the box. Pardrew's missus is probably sore.

spoke to a few of the toon supporters after the game who said that cisse was the difference between the two sides but also stated that if we were moredirect at times we would have won(twice graham and caulker were waiting for taylor to get the ball in but was played back) our 14 shots were all from outside the box.
