Seems very harsh, Gardener and Co we up in arms but the lad had hurled himself to the ground and as said where are the charges for the other teams........ Hey maybe its a sign we are becoming the special ones!!!!

They should bring a rule in like rugby that only the captain can approach the referee. That would stop all this carry on that we see. Players have to remember that, even when he is wrong, the referee is always right.

How many times when these protests do occur do we see a ref changing his mind. Not very often.

Aye I believe it was for the players surrounding the ref. It was pretty bad but at the same time the big teams do it every week and get away with it so with that in mind you've been hard done by. More consistency is needed.

What gets me about this particular dissent charge is the fact the ref got the decision wrong and that is what the players reacted to. So a cheat 'wins' a penalty and the error is compounded cos' they have ago at the ref about it and we get get punished for it. What I would like to see is if say a very rich football club owner decided to take this farce on by assembling an army of lawyers to challenge the FA and then to force the use of video replays and penalties for cheats. Usually nothing happens, several years ago we we playing Chitty at their place, the ref deemed that ChttyWP (now with QPR) had been pulled back by 'Ringo" Ringo was sent off for second yellow IIRC, however on a replay it was obvious that SWP cheated and the red card was rescinded, but no penalty to SWP. I've reffed football and rugby games and I am sure if slow-mo replays had been present it would be clear that I did make mistakes, all refs do, and they do need respect but VRs just make fools out of them and the present system seems loaded in favour of cheats..it has to change c'mon Ellis you can really make a name for yourself get some lawyers on board...

Every week the F.A. bring the game into disrepute so it is a pity we can not charge them with it

Who gives a **** what you post................lol (see earlier thread for humorous element here guys)

Vince - what would you or I have done if we were playing last weekend and those diving, cheating ****ers were throwing themselves down all over the place?

It would have been more than an FA conduct hearing or charge we would have been up for. I thought the players were restrained given the appalling penalty decision from Dowd the tit.

If that had happened to Man Utd, Fergie would have run on to the pitch and punched the ref. He would have got off with it of course.

Got to say the FA have their favorites look at the other week when Newcastle and Sunderland got charged, was that any worse control of players than what was going on a couple of weeks earlier when Man Utd were playing Liverpool. At the same time it looked to me as if Gardner man handled the referee.

Keep up with the news lad...that's actually his boyfriend and it was just a love squeeze....The real action took place later in the showers, until Bramble walked in brandishing a lethal weapon and a bar of soap.....Then everyone legged it...........

If it was the same for all teams then fine no problems from me but, it seems to be the smaller teams that get these sorts of punishments and not the Man Utds of the world who do it regularly and get away with it.
