AP has urged his players to win in Wales for the fans.

He's demanded his players make the Toon Army's 700 mile round trip "worth it".

Many of the Geordie faithful will be spending 14 hours on a bus for the longest trip in the Premier League, as they prepare to take in what could be a pivotal 90 minutes of action.

Newcastle fans will be spending hundreds of pounds to see their heroes in the Bank Holiday clash which was controversially switched to a 4:30 kick off time to fit in with TV plans.

And Pardew insisted he plans to make the long haul trip one to remember - for the right reasons.

In a message for the loyal support heading to Wales, Pardew told the Chronicle, "We know our fans are making a hell of a journey and that won't go unmentioned in the changing room. We have to make sure we deliver something for them. We couldn't be in better shape for the game. We have no excuse - we go there to win."

Nice of him to come out and say that.

The team seems to be happier, more relaxed and up for it with this new style and confident play.

I'm not doing a 700 mile trek to see us get beat.

I'll be there and I think all our allocation of tickets was taken up so the support should be good. Probably outshout and outsing the home fans.

You going to be online during the game?

Just to let you know, it's a frosty morning in Swansea this morning, but clear blue sky and plenty of sun, no wind. Might be a bit parky but it's dry and looking like a good day for a game. For once I've only got to travel 10 minutes instead of 7 hours, so I'm happy as a pig in ****
