For the wonderful respect shown by the Cardiff supporters yesterday in the minutes applause for Barry Kitchener.
I wasn't at the game yesterday TC but I remember Barry Kitchener well. Saw him play a few times, not many strikers got the better of him over the years. R.I.P. Barry.
Geezer! Real dedicated footballers will always have the respect from fans of any club, especially ours.Kitch was carved from the same granite as our own Phill Dwyer. Can you remember the game at the Old Den in the late 70's where big Phill flattened your keeper and was subsequently chased by a local skinhead.Uncompromising character Kitch and Joe,something that the modern game lacks with their poncy theatrical diving.
Too true mate - Don't remember the game, but I'm sure if Phil Dwyer had stood his ground there would have only been 1 winner!
I would like to echo TC's thanks for the respect shown for Kitch on saturday, a mate texted me just afterwards singing your praises and he doesn't praise people easily, so thank you all and good luck getting into the play-offs and winning them.
lads tbh if people cant show respect then there`s something wrong......the man deserved the applause and thats what he got...............................i remember the away fans booing the john charles minute silence down at ninian park not sure if it was sheff utd or sunderland tbh,but whoever it was was truly scum and should be put 2 sleep
