Although probably just paper talk, I'm going to say this is gospel. As are the rumours about McClean to Man U. But to be truthful, I couldn't give two hoots about them apart from derby days. I'll have a bit banter with their fans anytime of course! One thing is for sure though, they could ill afford to lose Sessegnon. They look half the team without him.

He was their potential match winner, can't see the fans being happy.

You may not be able to help with this AB, but do you know any reason why I'm getting certain words duplicated in my posts? And before you say it, no I have not gone fruit loopy and no I'm not a mong! I thought I must be going mad but then I double checked a few posts before posting and they were fine before posting.

I'd be hesitant to crow too much since Ba and Tiote are likely to be gone from the Toon in summer.

Can't see it if we get into Europe, outside chance if we don't. If Sessegnon leaves Sunderland think it'll be to PSG or somewhere like that.

Well the mags claim sess is useless but you will be delighted if he goes. Strange that. If Sess does go he will be a big miss he just has the something that not many players have.

<laugh> You'll struggle to find a Newcastle fan who doesn't rate Sessegnon but don't let that get in the way of your latest yarn. Mind he is very naive and gullable, as Cheik exposed.

If MA and DL have any sense at all they'll make sure we keep them and they'll end up better off financially with the rewards we'll get from getting into Europe with them both still playing for us.

Sess has had the better season, but Ben Arfa at his best is a class above him

Meh, I don't consider everyone outside the strongest 11 as back up. We will have to start rotating the team around if we want to keep pushing up the table and making our way in Europe.

All the top teams play pretty much a different side every game, that's what we need to be able to do. To avoid fatigue and to keep the caliber of players that we have happy.

<laugh><laugh> A double yarn well done.

I'll keep you right just for accuracy and because I'm a caring sort. You're clearly in need of a little help so here we go. Pardew did not say Benni was as good as Messi. Fail number 1. Pardew did not say at any time that Tiote is a hard man. Fail number 2.

Pardew did however say that Benni is Messi like at times. Those last two words are the operative words in the sentence. And I agree, at times, Benni with his mazy dribbles is a Messi flair type player. Neither Alan Pardew nor I would be silly enough to think any player can be compared with Lionel Messi. Only simpleton would, and only a simpleton would draw that conclusion from his comments.

It was Steven Taylor who said Tiote is the hard man of the team. This stands to reason and having had the pleasure of watching one the leagues best defensive midfielders over the last two seasons, I can confirm Tiote to be a hard man who doesn't give an inch. Now if you're still smarting from him getting the better of Sessegnon and making a chump out of him, I can't help you with that. But play acting to get your team an advantage has nothing to do with how hard you are. Only a simpleton like O'Neill would make a reference like that to curry a bit of favour with his own fans. To be fair to Marti he was mid rant at the time having lost the plot as the reality of how much work he had to do to catch Newcastle up again dawned on him. (this is afterall the main goal of any Sunderland manager)

Happy to be of service NMG
