Knew nowt about him at all. Got to say he looks a cracking buy for £9m. That said, what the **** has happened to Ba since he came on board? How many has he scored since January? His worth is plummeting by the week. Maybe it will be Cisse that attracts attention this summer not Ba? Is that 6 or 7 goals for Cisse in as many games? Good start for hi m for sure.
Perhaps he has been told he is off in the summer? Pulled to one side sort of thing, a bit like Andy Carroll.
Think Ba is off in the summer, and the Toon knew this and found the Cisse money. He's a smashing striker, he would have been some buy for us.
Cisse has been brilliant. Ba has been great as well with his build up play. I'd be surprised if the club don't give Ba a new contract though, it would be silly to allow a club to get him on the very cheap(obviously no choice if he doesn't want a new contract).
Ba has been playing out wide. He's been very unlucky not to score in recent games, his performances have been top notch.
He only has 2 goals since January in all competitions and didn't score in the ACN either. Granted he missed 3 games or 4 games due to the ACN but even so, strikers are judged on goals not performances. He had 15 up to Christmas but only 2 since. That will effect his sale value and even the most optimistic mag must know that there is going to be a fire sale at the Sports Direct in the summer. Krul, Ba or Cisse & Soft ****e will all be wanted men. We have the same problem with Sessegnon definitely and maybe McClean but both their stock are rising not declining. If Ba went for £4m or 5m (release clause) I'd be gutted as as mag follower.
His lack of goals doesn't reflect his performances. He's been first class on the left of a front 3 and Cissé is profiting from the hard work of both. Also, Cissé has 7 in 7 right now
Been sussed, as will Cisse after a while. Doing well at the moment, though. Did nowt against us, remember?
Football and joking aside, Cestria's bitterness seems quite unhealthy... he needs to relax and concentrate on the results of his own team.
