Surely it would be better for the club to confirm things directly to the fans, rather than let rumours gather pace and cause uncertainty for the fans? If the club were direct, the rumours wouldn't happen and we would be feeling secure and not worrying! Thoughts? Ps. Top of the League and having a laugh!
No, that would mean a statement would be needed once every couple of days. Let people spread rumours, the people that matter know they're not true.
Cortese is correct...can't respond to every rumour. No one would wipe off 33 million of debt if they weren't serious about ownership. No one would start a massive building project if about to sell. Cortese wouldn't be photographed in silly builders hat with SFC badge unless he was unafraid it would come back to haunt him
Nice position to be in for the club. New training facilities for the players and a Chairman that has a passion for the club. Win win situation. Cortese is a business man as well and any improvements ( improvements to training facilities ) will enhance what we have got.
If it is about injuries, NA is quite clear that he doesn't want the opposition to know the extent of any problems that we may have, he likes to keep them guessing, as a result we the fan base has to be kept in the dark, our own speculation can help or hinder but there is no restriction on rumour spreading as long it is kept sensible.
Anyone over the age of 10 should realise the rumours are BS, can't believe how many people are panicking.
