Hopefully now sunderland. Have done us a favour we can improve on our last performance against Blackburn this is r time mufc forever
hoping not to see hernandez on his own up front at any point tomorrow, he was horrific v fulham. id go with: De Gea Rafael-Evans-Rio-Evra Valencia-Carrick-Giggs-Young Rooney-Welbeck
I'd start Hernandez over Welbeck. He was terrible against Fulham but he came on when we'd stopped pressing forwards and we took Rooney off not long after. Hernandez can't and liekly never will be able to play the lone striker role. But in a front two, he's the second best striker we have behind Rooney. Welbeck is good and he's only going to improve, but we're at the point in the season now where we should be looking to start our strongest 11 as often as we can, get a comfortable lead if possible and then think about giving other players game time as subs.
Tonight will be tense, and nopt very pretty watch, with rovers battling for survival, a 5 point lead prize for us, it will close very close. but exciting eh!?
tell you what since my post i've got butterflies about tonight, first time in ages, just hope united remain focused and just do the job, don't care how, just win it. start the show boating at the end of the month ...... if we can.
I'd rather see Jones in the middle with Carrick to be honest, when Giggs plays the defensive duties from centre midfield lie solely with Carrick but if Jones plays it takes some of that responsibility off Carrick probably allowing him to get more involved in the attacking areas. Sent from my mobile
Just finished a light training session having returned from a short squad training camp to Scotland. We trained really well over the weekend and the boys looked focused. Results went our way, but it is up to us as a team to take advantage with a good result tonight Wayne Rooney
Is anyone else expecting a nervous night? Blackburn away is always a tough game and then there is the defeat at OT. Brown pants all round tonight then?
