To win you need courage, determination, willingness, bravery, desire, fire and anger. Not a limp wristed display of cowardice. Poor. Oh so very very poor in fact so poor as to be an absolute embarrassment. Where was the will to win. Reading absolutely battered West Ham and another display like today's against them and that lot from the east and we will be keeping our fingers crossed in the play offs.
Grow up i know its your opinion but ur being ott. it was bad yes but we will bounce back we always do. no better way then to bounce back in front of a full house against the blue few
Godders has hit the bottle. Just think back to all the low points of your Saints supporting life. This is nothing in comparison. We'll pull through, don't you worry.
Prior to this game we had gone 12 games unbeaten with an excellent defensive record. We were due another 'blip' before the end of the season and lo and behold it happened. I hope Frazer and Ricky are back next week although I am confident that we will despatch PFC. For those of you who feel like wrist-slitting now, go and sleep on it, then wake tomorrow and remember what we have ACHIEVED this season. Our achievement has been monumental. COYS!
Hi guys, i've been reading this forum for a month or so, and i think i've probably decided to join at the wrong time! I really think we missed lambert's presence today because sharp and guly just weren't getting on the end of the long balls. Anyway I think in the end blackpool deserved it but it isn't the end of the world as west ham lost and we're still 6 points clear of third. Lets move on and beat the skates
I would happily invite any of our players to my home for dinner and to meet my lovely granddaughters but would I want any one of them alongside me in a tight corner where a bit of bottle was needed? With the exception of Barnard the answer has to be no. The truth is all of our players are far too nice, too decent and far too polite. Did you see any anger today at being humiliated on TV, did you see any desire or determination? No.
Come on now, we were ****. If it wasn't for Kelvin it could have been alot more. We did hardly anything the whole game.
No, thankfully they are pros and keep their tempers under control. Losing 3-0 is bad enough, no point getting red cards as well.
More than one I have to say. I think it is called drowning your sorrows. Perhaps our players should have had a drop before the game they might have found some Dutch courage. Any sort of courage would have pleased for me!
The trouble was, we set up completely wrong. Everybody knows blackpool play directly, relying on their wingers to cause the opposition trouble. And what did we do? Play with no wingers! We left Butterfield and Fox far too exposed, and we paid the price. Blackpool took their chances, and we were poor. But, as others have said, this is no dilemma. Win against Pompey next week and we should push on from there to get promotion. If nothing else, it'll be an exciting run-in!
