There I've said it, we're clueless, abysmal, shocking. That was my last match this season, not wasting good money and precious minutes of my life watching this bullshit anymore :)

I'm not that bothered, if we play like this and ended up in the playoffs, how the hell would we hope to go up? Might as well fix the issues now and consolidate, it's an improvement on last season, albeit only just.

Did anyone seriously expect play-offs or promotion with the most inexperienced manager and an inexperienced team in a very competitive division?

Give it another season at least.

I'd love nige back if it wasn't for everything that happened, at least he knows how to manage a team. Barmby belongs on the pitch not in the managers box. Has Dave Jones got a job? I'd have him next season.

Agree with your first statement but not the second. The season is not over yet and we still have time to drop below last years position. Don't forget we are now probably without both our dependable centre backs for the next couple of games. The only way to fix the issues is to get an experienced striker in that know what a goal looks like

Is it? We finished 11th last season, this season it'll be 16th.

at last some sense! - yes its disappointing but honestly did anyone really imagine we were going up with a rookie manager and a predominately young and inexperienced team? In some ways I think we over achieved earlier in the season and now the inevitable reaction has set in.
What we have to do is learn from the experience, get at least one striker in and above all hang on to the promising youngsters we've got

That's the problem though, even if we arent going up you expect we'd get a marked improvement on last season anda decent top half finish. Now we're looking like dropping to mid-table and entertaining the possibility of being overtaken by ****e teams like Leeds and Leicester who were miles belows us about a month ago.

It's deoressing ensing the aeason on such a low and it won't help us sign players in the summer. Especially if we aren't gonna spend **** all.

I don't think we'll drop that far down, but I don't really think it matters, if you don't finish in the playoffs, it's just also-rans. What's the difference between 9th, 11th and 16th? (Aside from the miniscule difference in prize money)

Attracting players, and just generally the fact that it'd be nice for us to put a bit of effort in.
Fight to the end and finish 7th/8th, or give up and finish 16th.

And by the way, we're only 5 points off 16th, so I wouldn't count on it. If Barmby continues in his ignorance and stubbornness then I honestly don't see where a single point is going to come from throughout the rest of the season. West Ham and Boro will beat us easily, and if we can't even slightly threaten Coventry and Pompey, how can we expect anything from games such as tough visits to the Den?

ive tried not to criticism him too directly, hes inexperienced, one of our own etc..
but hes irritatated the **** out of me several times today..
firstly on the radio before the game, he sniped about swanny and all the plan b stuff, saying apparently i need a plan b, funny how people didnt say that when i was winning, of course they ****ing didnt, you dont need a plan b when plan a is working!!

then putting matty fryatt to left wing irritated me a bit, but that not much as we werent going to score anyway, wonder who suggested that move in the great clear the air meeting which seemed to work a right treat..!
then to come on radio now and say he was proud of that display!!! must have been watching a different game to me, it was absolute ****e again, then has a go at burnsy for daring to suggest a play off chasing team cant afford to lose and not score twice in a week against 2 of the bottom 3...
then burnsy asked if there was any thought into playing the likes of garcia or oli for experience, he turned into a right arsehole.
i know a lot of people take the piss out of burnsy and swanny, but im sorry over the last few weeks, they have talked a lot more sense between them then him..

he must be watching different games to me, and id like to swap my season pass for the games hes watching as they sound a lot more fun..
thats all im saying on it now, not ruining another saturday night getting riled up about city

Well to be fair in the first twenty minutes did have four good chances we just can't chance them. The problem is no matter how many chances we create we won't take them, and we have no depth so as soon as we lose any players we are done for. If they can get sorted we can be successful. Just typical overreacting by most as you get.
