Someone gave a brand new bathroom suite to their double glazer, who then flogged it to you for £50. Hmm... <laugh>

I'd say it's more like a load of crap to people like you who profit from other people being vastly underpaid.

Fell off the back of a lorry. Not a dent in it... at least not in the front.

Why would someone buy an expensive bathroom suite and then sell it off at a huge loss? I'm confused.

    Not in the slightest

One of the guys who I call is 69. He does things like tiling etc. Is brilliant and takes no breaks
He charges £35 a day (9.30 - 5). These are rates he has set

My usual electrician was away recently and i had to call in some other guy. Quoted me £120. Told him to do one. my usual guy came back and did it for £45

Its how things happen. I dont set the price

Not sure its 'expensive' sam. It was a white wickes/b&q job

I kid you not some people have more money than sense

I recently bought 25 boxes of cream tiles, each box has 44 tiles in it for £40

in my work they will get used in a bathroom or kitchen etc.

To get things this cheap is 'work'

One of my big money makers at the moment is kitchens

People pay fortunes for these when you can get them for less than half the price

All due respect Fan, but you're on my turf now, any Tiler who charges £35 is crap. Ask him if he ever heard of fleixbond?

Eh? A person has a brand new stove, wrapped, that they don't want and so sell it to you on ebay for a fiver. Why not return it to the bloody shop?

    I will ask him IG

but I tell you he is excellent. Dont think he is in it for the money. He is retired and I think it keeps him busy

Its like a friends grandad, he spent his life doing car resprays etc. One of the neighbours kids bought a car. First car so some cheap rubbish
He did it up for him, no charge

What are you talking about? The bloke was earning just over £4 an hour. Must be top of his trade.
