With great difficulty. If I want to buy something non essential I have to save for ages. Also, I rarely go out drinking - can't afford to.
Serious question for ye Sam what is the living standards like your way? What I mean is I saw a beautiful 4 bed detached house in southern Ireland with a couple of acres of land, it was advertises for sale for £120 grand You would be looking close to half a mill in stoke and probable a couple of mill elsewhere Basically what I am saying is a grand a month is shoite in some places but its better than say 3 grand a month in london
You'd be looking at at least a mil in a lot of London That's the main down side of London if you don't live in Council housing
I know a few people who moved out of London after living there for years. They had ****ty little houses there Now moved to stoke and living it large with money to spare
Catholic here. It used to be good but the price of basic goods just keeps going up and up. I think the property prices in Ireland are misleading just like they were before the crash. Now, they are far and away below their true value just like before 2007 they were by far and away above their true value.
There are some lovely areas in and around stoke in all honesty. Hilderstone etc are lovely and for what you get in London you could have a really nice house with land and then some I actually never liked london, for a big place I find it claustrophobic. sounds daft I know
