    Yes we were well beaten

Yes no one bar mig turned up

Yes every time you see phil Neville live in the flesh *you remember how ugly he is and how much he cheats

    But...

    1. Everton are a very good team with some top players (never seen felaine or distin have a bad game at our place and both were immense tonight) Every year after Xmas they are pretty much the form team in the country.

    2. The team was missing three first choice defenders.

    3. We've reached an fa cup quarter final and are probly gona finish top 10. I have only ever seen 2 better seasons in my lifetime.

    4. MON has done all of this with an inherited team that in December were on course to go down.

    5. I am still optimistic that MON will build his team and have us in and around the top 6 and will get us to a cup final.

Only disagree with one thing, I thought Cattermole was head and shoulders above anyone in a Sunderland strip tonight.

Catts and Mig main performers for me. Mind I did stop watching after the second. I wish we'd start to constantly just give the ball to Sess' feet. Not head. Feet. He looked like to conjure something up almost every time he got the ball at his FEET.

I disagree, he was poor to average. The only times I noticed him were when he gave the ball away or flared up, Sess was good as per usual but the lads need a boot up the arse tomorrow morning.

Sometimes though Jersey it's just a bridge to far. I'm disappointed yes but hey what a season we're having after the heartache we all suffered under the previous management.

If you're feeling sad that our F.A Cup run has ended , just remember how you felt when we were knocked out of the League Cup earlier in the season.

It's a sign of just how far we've come in such a short time that we're all so disapointed by tonights result. There'll be other good times to come. KTF

Must admit, you've done very well to get so far.

If you got through if would have been difficult for me. Not being from Newcastle I don't show as much disdain towards you as others might do. If anything, I'm now very much pro North East teams. And I hate Liverpool more. But we would've needed Liverpool to win obviously.

You've got a very good team and you'll be fine next season. Here's to us playing some fantastic matches in the upcoming seasons and I hope we both dislodge the 'top 5' <ok>

I thought Catts spoiled the balance of the team. Charging around chasing the game as usual. No class.

To me Cattermole was one of the worst players on the pitch last night. He may have won the ball but then what did he do. Usually misplaced his pass to one of our players or gave it straight back to one of the opposition. Oh and then he got his usual yellow card. He is more of a liability than an asset and maybe in the summer we should be looking for a replacement and letting him go.
