O'Neill takes off Krgyiakos and puts on Vaughan? What? WHAT? Worst substitution in history, who knows what may have happened if he hadn't booted the ball into the net
I cannot get over how the **** he managed to score it anyway He just had to STOP the ball and let the other defender clear it
Got to be honest I have no idea what that was about. We couldn't handle their height so I dunno why Bardo was put at CB. Gutted for Vaughan
I have no idea what the tactic was, Larsson right back and Bardsley moved in? It was bizarre! Krygiakos was having a bad game but you need a strong presence at centre half. And yet, I severley doubt many will knock "god o'neill" for this massive tactical error.
Best own goal ever, fact, he just totally spazed out, think he was just so grateful at seeing the ball trickling towards him after giving it away he somehow forgot to clear it, tap it out, boot it for a corner or anything else, just not really sure how me managed it
Chiek if you are going to have a go at least get it right. Gardner went to right back. Vaughan came on in the middle. Had no problem with that substitution, it was the campbell for bridge moving Vaughan to left back that was crazy! Larrson was a non entity all game and should have been taken off at half time. We lost mainly due to missing O'Shea and having to play the useless Greek
I did say I was totally unsure what happened when the substitution was made And that's what a squad is for mate, we've been without our best centre half all year, no excuses.
The thing is Comm, most of them are utterly pissed off & jealous of our progress in a competition they wish they had still been in until this round. Obsession springs to mind but I just put it down to good old fashioned jealously that a fierce rival out did them this time. Watch as the goal posts get shifted
A lot were saying "concentrate on the cup, the league is safe". Well we're not going down, now all we have is to finish as high as we can.... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xpqas2_sunderland-0-2-everton-fa-cup_sport?start=17#from=embed
Couldn't believe how bad we were oh by the way does the user name Chiek the room refer to what happens when Tiote (the softest 'hard man' ever to have played )is knocked out flat by a dwarf like Sessengon?
I personally don't see the tactical error - he changed it to go more attacking (and the greek is injured by the way so it wasn't "tactical" it was forced) it didn't work - we all may have done it differently. Remind me how Newcastle did in the FA cup? Oh yes much better than us in the 4th round against Championship opposition And you've been complaining about 2 injuries - our squad has Wes Brown, Titus Bramble John O'Shea and Kieran Richardson injured - not just our best centre half - I remember you lot coming on saying how no-one would beat Norwich with the defence you had - at the time you had 2 injuries and you say to us it's a squad game??
