the mancs are squaring up for one semi finals of the fa cup and stoke and bolton in the other. at least it'll get a "smaller" team in the final. but after all the ups and downs this season perhaps we'll see a cup upset and an unfamillier name on the cup. after birminghams cup win it would be unsurpising. but good.

I hate the fact that not606 has such a bad reputation online due to its ****ty chit-chat forum but no reputation on the quality of the posts in the football forums. I've just seen a post on BBC606 saying not606 is basically run by kids which just isn't the case (with regards to football forums, more specifically, the Liverpool forum). I haven't replied to the guy as I don't want to go down to his level of slagging off other websites and clogging up BBC bandwidth with a silly arguement but eugh, it peeves me

 

I saw that. Ironic that one bloke complains about alt606 articles pushing others onto the second page when there's five Pacheco articles in a row below that article, one of my biggest peeves about 606.

I've been saying this for the past 2 seasons! Our centre backs are not very good, we need to get at least 1 during the summer. Carragher will be 34 next season, Agger has styrofoam legs and Skrtel and Soto are just crap in my opinion!

What I want to know is who are going to be our full backs next week!!! Can't stand Carragher playing right back. It just lets the opposition know that there will be no threat whatsoever from the right hand side!

 

I never remember Soto being this bad last season or even the beginning of this season infact, he had a stinker yesterday. Skrtel ironically despite being so bad scored us the goal. Carragher is out of sorts at RB; he's too used to the CB role. Agger is a good defender, but I reckon he needs to bulk up a bit.

I'm a bit worried about Wilson - he didn't look particularly good, and I've noticed he hasn't impressed me in the Europa league either. It could be because he keeps getting stuck at LB - but I hope he improves sooner rather than later.

I think now could be the time we bring in Ayala and Wisdom. Let's give them a much deserved chance. There shouldn't be a need to buy any CBs then.

Just watching Benfica v PSV and it looks a great game, benfica really turning on some style. Currently Benfica 3 - 0 PSV, and the more I watch Coentrão the more I think we need him. Coentrão and Kelly fullbacks with Johnson as backup RB/LB should be a brilliant wide defence pair up.
