All dead right Blueman. But you could have added that even after AVB went, and our miserable whiney players increased their commitment by about 5000%, we can now see that most of the old guard are STILL not up to it anymore. I don't think any manager had a chance at top 4 with this lot, and that is absolutely down to the top brass allowing Player Power to flourish.
Spot on Blueman! We'll never know for sure--but wouldn't it be nice to know exactly where we'd be now if Carlo (and Wilkins) had stayed in their jobs?
As I posted on the RIP Spurs thread - "Would only add that the rebuilding DL speaks about should've happened last summer as we all know. Adding Mata was a good move but bringing in Meireles and not getting rid of the shyte has cost us dearly. Bringing in younger players then loaning them straight back out again is all well & good but radical changes needed to be made last summer." - THAT, I'M AFRAID, IS THE FAULT OF AVB. If he couldn't see first hand what we all saw last season then clearly, he was not up to the job at this time. I hope he does become very successful in time but this job was too soon.
Given the pile of dross you claim to have for a team despite spending £££MMM of your owner's cash, how do you think you are going to manage when you have to live within your means, as Spurs and Arsenal already do?
I am sure Chelsea will find a way around the rules PowerSpurs, Barca are in heavy debt and Real Madrid are constantly spending fortunes on transfers and i highly doubt UEFA would ban one of these clubs. Also when you have a owner who is worth billions there will always be around these types of things unfortunately. If everything was done like these rules suggest i highly doubt you would see Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barca in the Champions League ever again
Again on & on about FFP - Totally unenforceable. And your comment - "Given the pile of dross you claim to have for a team despite spending £££MMM of your owner's cash" - I spent the ****ing money did I? - Bitter twat!
Are you special? What part of FFP being applicable do teams in the CL do you not understand? If we aren't in it, how can they enforce it? Clubs like Inter and AC Milan are in far more danger than we are.
