I have to say i agree with Percy, why run a player down you are trying to sell. He probably wasnt good enough but confidence is crucial for footballers and he never gave him any support.

TWF always Slags of AP, in the hope that it might deflect attention from the fact that Brownie signed ****e and Duffen was a thief, it never works, I'm surprised he hasn't given up yet.

    He's like King Canute.

Do you mean the Adam Pearson - Iain Dowie pic?

Face it - City were doomed at that point; and no-one, no-one, would want a relegation on their CV if they could avoid it.

(And....it didn't make AP look good - and you can bet he was gritting his teeth in that pic).

How exactly has he got away with murder? It seems pretty certain that we will win the Bullard case and sacking Brown wasn't a mistake in itself (apart from it should have been earlier), it was the hiring of Dowie that sent us tits up.

I'm pretty sure Kamel Ghilas must know his future doesn't lie with City.

I missed this when you posted it! Interesting. Also interesting that "TWF" ignores your point....

Is he thick, or just an attention-seeker?

    Ghilas is worth bugger all.

The French Ligue 2 is not up to Championship Standard, I've lived there and watched enough of it to know this.

So the fact he's scored 13 goals in it this season counts for nothing.

But the main reason we won't get jack-all for Ghilas is that the bufoon called Duffen signed him up on a massive contract - well above what he is worth and paid stupid money for him (£2.5 million?).

As a result, nobody can prise him away from City except on a loan deal as he won't walk away from such a long lucrative contract.

So the man to blame is DUFFEN. Just incase anybody hasn't noticed.

Oh and anybody who thinks Adam Pearson is an idiot/useless, is clearly either a deluded nutcase or more likely Duffen himself. Posting under a false name trying to justify his fraudulent reign at the club which ended in his disgrace.

No way will he get them kind of wages again so the best thing from a Ghilas prospective would be to come back with a professional attitude and prove himself to Barmby in pre season that hes good enough and if hes banging them in get a place for next season and take it from there.

We can hope. My guess is that City would let him go for FREE if they could get rid of his full wages. Now that would be a good result.

Played in the correct position with a decent team around him in the L2, for a full season, that is not an unreasonable thing to say.

He'd get less battered by the oppo defenders in their L2 and he would have more time on the ball. He would need to speak French though!

Which is something Ghilas has over him!

I live in France, Stade de Reims although a great side in the 50s would be in a relegation battle in our Championship PLUS mid table L1 French sides (the ones who may be interested in him) don't have the money to spend on Ghilas' wages, it's tightly controlled in France, you're not allowed to operate at a loss.

I don't think that would be a problem, I think he's a French teacher on the side. There's certainly been more of the crowd excusing their French since he signed.

I remember seeing Ghilas play the last 15-20 minutes for us Chelsea and thinking he looked decent, then again against Bolton at home. Every other match he played he was absolutely awful

If you take the A and the E out of Canute and use the other letters as an anagram you get what TWF is actually King ****.

    Much more accurate

Probably only if there were two points to it as the constantly fighting the tide (of public opinion) was the comparison that seemed more likely to me.

I googled this Canute fella and got "Cnut the Great" so I thought, "ah, clever" and moved on.
