"40million rated" does that mean we'd actually spend 40million on them? Depending on contracts and their happiness at the club, we might get them cheaper, 40m is just what people think they are worth.

 

By all accounts he's more of a winger than an out and out centre forward, but CAN play there I think. Taking that into account, his goal to game ratio for a winger doesnt seem too bad. They play Hazard Sow Gervinho, so we'd play Ben Arfa Sow Gervinho, or something similar.

I personally wouldn't be happy with a forward line with that little Premier League experience.

 

I'd like that line up, especially for £25m. Get a back up left back and a couple of squad players and we'd be fully prepared for targetting Europe!

All technically able players which will encourage positive attacking/passing football but at the same time we'll have a solid base with Tiote and Samba. Nolan's technically ability is ****, too slow for that team, good back-up though.

 

It would be awesome if we signed them both, £40m is a bit excessive though and I don't think Ashley would spend that much on just 2 players. It would be great to see Ashley spend big on a couple of top quality signings like these but unlikely that we'd spend so much on just one player (obvs it's 2 here but approx 20m each).

 

To splash out £40mil on just 2 players when we need at least another 5/6 just sounds crazy.

 

I want Gervinho that will look really good on the back of a top.

 

Gervinho - yes please! Wouldn't know who Sow was if I fell over him so can't judge. And as I don't know Sow I can't really say whether £40m is a good price or not.

All I can say is that if this story is true I hope we have more than £40m to spend because we need more than just two players.

I'd rather have the cold you appear to be suffering from than the player you mention.

 

Demba Ba, Gervinho and Connor Wickham to replace Ameobi and Lovenkrands and possibly Ranger if he don't sort his act out. It would look beautiful.

 

IMO Wickham's price is too high for a largely unproven teenager and I dont see how we could justify paying what they would demand. Ranger might be a dick, but so are half the national side so as long as he starts being professional in training then I dont see an issue with him, not like Carroll was a model professional.

 

I hope we dont sign all foreigners, I mentioned this on another post 2 so sory for repeatin myself lol
