out of all the loan players we have had this season i wonder how many of them would be worth the punt to get next season money permitting.harper a defINATE NO.Laing would be nice on loan for the season but i dont think sunderland would let that happen.donnelly would be good ,what about the rest?
HI Rocky long time no speak. I reckon there's every chance we could get Hayes to come back to us if we stay up. And Hackett too.
hi jock where you been hiding on the gas room again . i dont think we have a chance of getting hayes when there are bigger clubs than us he could go to,but you never know football is a funny old game as they say.
of our loan players this season... Scott Donnelly - would be happy to see him back and if he is out of contract in the summer i cant see swansea keeping him Elliot Benyon - no. just no Martin Rowlands - obviously not an option now Grant Basey - already ours Nicholas Bignall - looked good for 20 minetes but injury prone? not fussed Marcello Trotta - every day of the week, but i cant see it happening Anthony McNamee -already ours Louis Laing - wonder if him and waddock had a fall out or something? would love to have seen him next season, but i cant see him wanting to come after being kept out recently James Harper - makes benyon look a good option Matty Whichelow - didnt look interested after the first game, he wont want back and im not fussed Craig Eastmond - would love to see him, think its near impossable but you never know Chris Hackett - saw his first game but nothing else, he looked good and if he is avaliable perminantly would be an option, giving ainsworths possible retirement Gary Doherty - apparently out of favour? could be just what we need Paul Hayes - looks set to be recalled, but they may not want him in the championship. who knows?
would be good to keep doc as well looks good for us! and charlton fans comments means he would be good. and we havent seen enough of hackett yet. and eastmond is to good at this level. just my opinion
Perfect post jose, I agree with all of that (although I believe the chances of keeping Eastmond are less than zero).
Can someone tell me if the loan window shuts on Thursday? If so what happens if Hayes and Doc are recalled on Friday. Are we left with any options? CP seems to hint he may recall whenever Hayes might be needed e.g if they lose form or get injuries.
letss hope they go on to win every game (bar one of course) convincingly scoring goal after goal then!
They have signed a forward on loan from millwall fingers crossed we can keep both Hayes and Doherty !
Don't hold me to it, but I've heard Arsenal may actually release Craig Eastmond in the summer! Think about it, to us he is pure quality and that easily stands out, however Arsenal have how many other players with the same sort of quality at their disposal? Signings such as Paul Hayes & Craig Eastmond will purely depend on what league we are playing in next season and I've got 100% belief that it will be league one. COYB
I can virtually 100% guarantee that The Doc won't be recalled. Hayes is another matter though. As you've seen he's a class act and probably the unluckiest Charlton footballer I've ever seen, in that when Yann Kermorgant exploded into the side, it made Hayes' hitherto unchallenged position very dodgy indeed. A minor tweeting incident in which he declared he was 'p*ssed off' at being left out of the side in favour of a loan player didn't apparently endear him to CP and he's hardly featured since. We could do with him back right now, but I really don't think it's going to happen unless there's a sudden and very serious injury crisis. Could be wrong, of course but this has been a season of unusual happenings, to say the very least.
the doc has done a great job in sorting our defence out and hayes has banged in the goals alongside our little gem beever and everything is looking rosie at the moment so dont want charlton ruining it tewkes
