Ok enough is enough and it has to be said, in fact I'm surprised no one has already.

The envy coming from certain posters from Legoland is getting embarrassing now, I've actually been cringing for them.

At the start of the season some of them and they know who they are were wishing us all the worst and predicting we'd get less points than Derby.

Now that their ridicilous predictions have been blown out of the water the latest is that the Premier League is now rubbish. Yeah right, Fulham, Arsenal and Manchester City are rubbish (probably because we beat them).

Turn on the tv and watch MOTD or Sky and they are continually singing our teams praises, the same can be said for any newspapers you choose to read, the same can be said for fans of other clubs up and down the country. I'll exclude the Welsh media as we all know they're Cardiff fans. So, can everyone else be wrong and only Cardiff fans be right ? Somehow I don't think so.

On Goals On Sunday I noticed that Brendan spoke of the style of play and at one point mentioned that it had been critised by someone in the Championship (wonder who that could be?). The reaction from the others in the studio said it all, they all just laughed and couldn't believe it.

I know it must be difficult to admit that your local rivals are better, I too would find it hard to stomach but football goes in circles and there are times when Swansea are better than Cardiff and vice versa. This is a period in time where we're not just better we're streets ahead and the Premier League certainly is no weak division. If we played you tomorrow we'd win at a canter

To conclude just like to reiterate that this is not directed at the decent Cardiff posters, just the numpty boys who can't face facts.

Don't get wound up Dilli - the League Table says it all <ok> Watched Man City v Chelsea and then Real Madrid versus someone on Sky last night. The only team that played like the Swans was Real Madrid <ok>

NB Reals coach is Mourhino who was at Chelski with Brendan...........

Apparently you shouldn't take any notice of someone who sells crisps = Gary Lineker respected pundit and class player
Premiership weakest ever = But we still cant get in
Playoffs a lottery=because we always lose and this season we might not get in
Wembley is our second home= so why do our visitors always get the spoils

That sounds about right Bongo !

Not wound PGF, there's some decent Cardiff fans on here who behave with dignity and talk some real sense and then there's the rest. It's these buffoons that can learn a thing or two from their peers.

I feel badly for an undernourished squad , put together on the cheap , who have played bravely all season but just ran out of steam when February arrived . Showing such potential & getting basically nobody in January & probably no one in the Loan window is practically criminal . Couldn't happen to a better % of fans , or cheapskate owners too !

It's funny but I don't even think of the Championship anymore; it just seems so distant and immaterial. Don't mean to be disrespectful, but in reality, even though a fair number of Championship matches are shown over here, it kinda disappears into the noise. Same goes for Cardiff, I have no idea how they are doing, have no interest in finding out, really don't care. At some point down the road, I may have to care again, either they get promoted or we have a bad spell and we go down ...... nah, never going to happen.

As has been mentioned before if the boot was on the other foot they would have been on here like ming the merciless with non stop sniping and gloating.
But apart from a bit of mild banter i won`t lay into thier bitterest wums as much as i could because i feel a bit sorry for them having tried really hard for a long time and been left devastated each season which can`t be much fun for them, so it would be like shooting fish in a barrel !
And old rivalaries apart they are welsh and therefore proud like us of thier home town club and country so they are not all bad .

( I reserve the right to change my oppinion at any time ! )<whistle>

If its so poor why are they wanting promotion from the championship ? Why do they implode every season ? It must be about 7-8 seasons in a row now ;) they will never make it as they are simply not good enough.

As for the standard of the premier league, they are not in it or have ever been in it, so their opinions don't count for much, they are just jealous of us, and they can't handle the fact that we have achieved their dearest wish in half the time in the championship , with a fraction of the money !

i'd say the standard in the prem is improving, if you take the big sides from a couple of seasons ago- man u,chelsea, arsenal they're still top sides, but now man city and spurs are top sides as well, liverpool are another super heavyweight who could well develop over the next season or 2 and newcastle have improved with some top striker's brought in, the middle of the table is just as strong and the teams struggling are the same old teams, so if the division was getting weaker, surely one of your wolves or wigans would be able to emulate what us or norwich are doing. next season is going to be even stronger i feel and if cardiff do manage to sneak up through the play-offs they'll find out the hard way just how strong the prem is.

I reckon Valley and Doctor both have very valid points. Spurs have improved vastly under Harry and Newcastle are a different animal under Pardew. Dalglish has steadied the ship at Liverpool but they are still underperforming. The fact it's any 6 or 7 to qualify for Europe shows teams are getting stronger. As for us, well if it's so easy to play like we do in the Premier League then how come everybody isn't doing it ?

its not just a handful of bluebirds playing down the quality of the PL, its most of the pundits you see on TV too.. they are all saying that this is probably the worst man united team in years, yet they somehow lead the pack. in past years teams like wigan and wolves would have been effectively relegated in january, but at present it looks like 33-34 points will see those teams over the line..

liverpool, chelsea, arsenal and to a lesser extent man united, all shadows of the teams they were even 2-3 years ago.

you say you dont care about the championship and probably havent seen a single minute of action of us but you all seem to have an opinion on where our problems lie football wise...

I used to be OK with them until we missed out on the playoffs at the expense of Blackpool a few seasons back. The gloating was a shock to be honest. What did it for me was when they signed JET on loan and nobody on their board knew who he was so I posted a link to a YouTube video for them on their board and was abused for my trouble by the usual suspects.

Since then I openly despise them and am not ashamed of it. I respect other posters who feel differently but I certainly don't 'feel bad' about them like Breezy. In my book we have enough pressures staying in this League without the additional circus of two derby days. I enjoyed the local derbies (usually because we did pretty well) but I think we've moved on. I take an active interest in how they're doing because I don't want them in the Prem, it's that simple. By the way, most fans from the other clubs don't either if you read the posts.

Can you imagine if we were the ones who were squillions in debt, owned by a foreign national, our players having to wear the name of his country on our shirts, whilst they were the ones in the Prem whilst we struggled in the Championship? I think our fans have been remarkably restrained in the circumstances.

As you say, Dilli, the best they can do now is come on here (and on their own board) and say how poor the Prem is this season. What's more, some of our lot agree with them! I've said before, imo that does the Swans a terrible disservice, and dare I say it, arrogance on the part of our own fans.

I actually enjoyed the Championship when we were in it. Anybody could beat anybody and it was an exciting League. But I've watched some Championship games recently and the pace of the game and the quality of the passing and finishing is noticeably inferior. You can get some good games for sure, but overall the Prem is well ahead imo and if (god forbid) they came up they'd have a shock. What we are hearing from them now as you say smacks of the greenest envy. One of their posters actually said recently that they'd "get autos next season with a couple of decent signings". They couldn't do it with 8 Prem loanees! <laugh>

Swamp: if it's that bad why are you lot even trying to join us? Yes I'm sure you'll take the League by storm. The fact you can't even beat third from bottom Coventry tells me otherwise. <doh>

And yes, I have watched you this season. The Bristol game showed me two very poor teams. <sorry> and all that.

I'm sure if we did go up instead of you last season you'd have all predicted we beat Derby's record too, and if we'd got to where you are in the league (and I have to say well deserved [you ****ers]) you'd be saying how weak the prem is too.

We are rivals and a bit of football related piss taking never hurt anyone. Saying that people just go way too far for both clubs and seem obsessed with the other. I generally ignore any point they're trying to make as they're just idiots.

Pundits also said we would be bottom & relegated . Pundits have a habit of being selectively quoted by bottom dwellers . There like weathermen , seldom right & often quoted .

Swamp I'd love you to name these pundits on the TV that have been saying the prem is poor this year. Id be impressed if you could name even 1! Such a bitter bunch.
