I have looked at the remaining fixtures for all the clubs, and been extremely biaised against us, with only 2 more victories for us. If we get 13 more points we will finish 6th. Knowing our luck we would still not get Europa league as Everton or S*****land would win the cup.

We're 10 points ahead of Sunderland, can you honestly see them catching us up?

Can't see them winning the Cup either.

Can't see Sun***land catching us, or Liverpool. My worry is Swansea, their away form was terrible at the start of the season but they have got their act together recently. If we can get a draw there it will be another game out of the way where they can't close the gap.
I can see Sun***land dropping points on Saturday as thet will have one eye on cup replay. That is going to be their priority, as i think it is for Liverpool.

Must admit I just can't see the mackems getting through Everton and Liverpool. Good at home in big games so maybe they can squeeze past Everton. They'll need luck or an off day though as I expect Everton to finish above Blunderland and they have a stronger side. But rolling onto Liverpool in the semi final if the unusual happens, I'd fancy Liverpool at Wembley all day long. Just much more used to the big occasion and should have beaten Blunderland in both games this season.

Anyway Blunderlands bubble looks to have burst. They seem a one man team and this won't have gone unnoticed by Moyes/Dalglish. Take care of Sessegnon, take care of Blunderland.

I had a look at the fixtures and they're not too bad truth be told. I'd be happy with 7th but kinda disappointed when looking at the current table and considering the stage of the season.

so you think we'll get two victories and seven draws? unbeaten til the end of the season?

either your maths is bad, or you don't understand the meaning of the word 'biased'

The difference between 6th & 7th isn't important as far as Europe goes. Both get us European football if Liverpool win the semi. Neither do if the don't.

I wouldn't expect us to let Swansea make up 8 points in 9 games, so really it's just steady as she goes and hope for the best on the 14th

Not in terms of Europe, just in terms of how long we've been top 6 now. Usually about 800k - 1m difference for each league placing too, every little helps!

If we do make top 6 ahead of Liverpool I will hunt down Jose Enrique and laugh in his face for 45 minutes

Am I being greedy by thinking we can get 5th?

No, though losing at Chelsea must be avoided.

If we finish 6th and Tottenham were only 5th that would really please me. Champion contenders a month ago, struggling to get into Champions league just now priceless.

Are you going to tie him to something so he can't get away or just follow him around?

I wouldn't laugh at Jose. I'd ask him to resign and come home.

    Ay.

No real hard feeings about Jose. Played well while he was here and never made false promises of eternal loyalty. Took what he thought was a better job - - how many of us wouldn't ?

To be fair at the time we all thought it looked a better job! And I suppose he said he was leaving to win trophies and he has done just that. He wouldn't have had them chasing our tail though! We need a left back............

It makes me very uneasy having to rely on Liverpool. They are terrible.

Couldnt beat cardiff at Wembley. Had to rely on penalties.

....I think I would prefer Mackems to go to Wembley and choke, rather than Everton go there and be inspired.

Sunderland only need to be runners up to get into europe, which is still very possible. A Liverpool vs Spurs final would be ideal.
