See, I would normally wish the Arsenal team/fans well for future seasons because they're in a similar boat to us - trying to build a competitive team (yes team, not singular player) in an era of billionnaire playthings. Much in the same way, and I hate to admit this, I appreciate how united are competing against them. And yet, they have nothing better to do than come here and spout their mouths off against us. Makes me wonder what happened to football.
Totally agree with you ,these sort of performances aren't acceptable anymore. Anybody got some paper there seems to be a crack in the last lot we used?
Thing is, up until the 75th minute, Kenny got things right, team was playing good football and we had hit some form. Things change so quickly. I know it's hard but yet again, it was another good performance (bar the last 15 mins) and we should have put the game to bed. I think we need at least 2-3 top quality players who can come straight into the team and then we will see a big difference.
And you having a good rant on the Internet helps how? Now when you look at the times under Hicks and Gellett, fan action was necessary. However, the new owners don't appear to accept second best, and will be doing everything to rectify matters. Be that buy new players, replace Kenny, whatever, and that will happen in the summer. You kicking off, only serves as bait for WUMs.
Wishi I have the same opinion as you, difference is, I don't just post after defeats. Why don't you post here when we win?
It doesn't help what's happening on the pitch, but it's an outlet for my irritation. Sorry, but I feel let down. And FYI I'm not the one who posted an article entitled And so begineth the knee-jerking and the wumming...... Someone pointed out I only post negative things. It's not quite true, I have been positive as well, but the negatives have far outweighed the positives and you know it. FFS why can't I have a soddin' rant? Who are you to tell me otherwise? I will add this: as much as I love Kenny if we didn't have the Carling Cup questions might be being asked about his position now, the one thing I didn't want to happen when he took over from Hodgson, but here we are. Although I blame the players the buck always stops with the manager, even if we don't like it.
I have, actually. I praised Downing's performance after the CC final and I posted other positive stuff as well. I didn't post after the Derby 'cos I wasn't going to come back until next season. You won't remember them, though, 'cos we haven't won many matches when we should have. Have we?
