Somehow the season still hangs on by a thread, which can only be described as fantastic but surprising. With so many 6 pointers to come lets have a quick Poll: Who thinks we'll keep a clean sheet at the seaside this Wednesday? Yes or No?
No. But I do think we'll have enough to win. At least I hope we do! I can see a Nugent brace and a Matt Phillips goal in between. We seem to do well against 'Pool.
Too many factors point to a hammering for me, which is exactly why (rather stupidly) I think we'll get a clean sheet.
Apart from when we went down to League One and they beat us home and away. If we'd won home and away, they'd have gone down instead of us...
Blackpool are probably one of the best attacking sides in the league and if we defend like we did today, then we have no chance. But I don't think we should get too dis-heartened by today's game against a top quality side. We did defend naively but I'm sure we'll learn and improve from it. I can see Peltier coming in for Bamba who struggled. Unfortunately, given they have more to play for and we looked dead on our feet at the end of the game, I'm going 2-1 to the 'Pool.
Blackpool look to have far to much fire power for your defence to cope with. Ted Nugent may score but it will only be a consolation. Now that you are out of the FA Cup will Beckford go back into his shell.? Good luck you shall need it. One days less rest prior to saturdays game.
1-0 Up. Conceed. 2-1 Up. Conceed. 3-2 Up. Conceed. 14 Goals in 4 away games Tosh, crap and no surprise.
A point against a side that has been above us all season. Don't tell me you wouldn't have taken it before the game against our ****e defence.
