For the fans i meant. There was no trouble, probably because of the security they had, but definitely not impressed with a few idiots in the Hull end.
Some of your 'tards tried to run on after the second goal and got led out. Also a small group of Southampton fans down at the front spent much of the match goading and gesticulating to the home fans Every club has 'em.
I was in E3 near some of the trouble. It was only minor and the city fans doing the throat slit sign are idiots and primitive. To put a slight defense to why that happened yesterday and does not normally happen was there was a group Soton fans giving it the big un not intent on watching but more to infuriate the pocket of fans in the east stand corner which was why some of it happened. I am not defending the fans who were out of order though.
"It was only minor and the city fans doing the throat slit sign are idiots and primitive." Agreed. A shooting gun gesture would have been much more sophisticated.
Sometimes it can be quite amusing watching the gestures of grown men towards the away supporters . By the way I just have to ask, who is the bloke in your picture.
I'm fully up for a bit of banter and jesturing in the ground, but to take it outside and to threaten other fans is disgraceful and they let down the rest of your excellent support.
Every club has a few idiots , even yours Millwall threw seats at our fans at the KC and got away with it all
So no generalisation there! I thought Lambert would be like Holt when he joined us, but he has much better feet and technique while Holt is superior in the air. You did not see the best of Lambert as he didn't get great service and in the second half he was marked well. Finally, have to say there were the usual idiots in the home and away end that aren't watching the game, but when is that ever not the case?! First trip to the KC and I really enjoyed it and the ambiance.
Well I was in the away end, so maybe I was just relieved at the victory, however I did think that your fans and staff were friendly and that the team is part of the community. Being noisy is not the only remit. Fortunately I did not have to enjoy the ambulance .
Someone needs to point it out to Nick. You don't have to have an average height of under 5ft to play decent football.
