Ah, the Dr has got himself a nice little sidekick once more. Surely anyone who watches that TV prog doesn't want to see a nice attractive lady on tv, they are tuning in for the daleks et al. Dreadful show, there is "more point to a wedding disco, without a bride and groom" (arctic monkeys circa 2005?).
Morning all. Poor stuff again but the Curragh on Sunday looks a class card ATM. O'Brien has a 2yo by HTN entered in the first and also Twirl is entered later on the card.
Hello lads. Haven't had a detailed perusal but at first glance todays offerings are mediocre. Turf flat racing this weekend...time does flies.
Afternoon, one. Afternoon, all. Nothing for this correspondent today but RV agree totally re The Curragh on Sunday and it looks Corking with a capital ‘C’. The first Irish 2YO race of the term takes place, there’s a lovely fillies Group 3, the Irish Lincolnshire is run (what’s Dessie Hughes up to with Chill?!?) and to boot Camelot is working after racing as well. Meanwhile, Nass why is Baby Shine ‘ineligible’ for the Mares Hurdle Final at the weekend and been scratched from the 5 day entries?!? It’s mentioned in ‘The Weekender’ but no reason given.
Afternoon one and all. Like a grind, so was immediately drawn to the 15:30 at Warwick. 3 miles 5 over the tall timber. It looks a wide open race, but again I've gone for one with a postage stamp on his back, Septos. Last start he competed in a race that must have been murder. Over just the 3 miles at Chepstow, but on a heavy track, he was beaten 22 lengths. It must have been a real battle out there that day as only 6 of the 13 managed to complete the course, most being pulled up. Septos plugged away. I think the trip might suit him today. The field is weak and he's the despised outsider. Value. Warwick. 15:30 Septos.
Nass, Don McCain's Seedless is also 'ineligible' in the same race but her reason is obvious - she ran on the flat. Baby Shine I am totally confused about as well.
