Just talked to my son, he wanted 4 tickets for Everton game, usually sits in South Stand but could not get 4 together so is in East, looking good.
Think you have till Thursday 5pm. Got 5 today (season ticket holders) and wanted 2 extra adults, normally loads of spare seats in front and behind us (mainly due to my mates flatulence) and could only get tickets 3 rows in front.
You can't get tickets in the South stand because it is all being used for the away supporters, their are plenty of tickets left if you look at the stadium plan online
at 4.30 today the only place I could only get 2 together was in the upper iter of north stand! It's gonna be sold out no doubt.
I'd be surprised if it sold out, but I'd lve to see it. Murray why dont you sort tonight by phone or online?? I bought my two in the phone earlier and have just bought another ticket for qpr on line, system bit sluggish but gorrit sorted.
Just an update. Sunderland is advising supporters that Everton have requested their full allocation of tickets permitted under the competition rules for the FA Cup with Budweiser quarter-final replay at the Stadium of Light. In order to accommodate the 6,000 visiting fans]it will not be possible for season card holders in the south east corner of the stadium - blocks U11, U12 and L 11 - to be allocated their season card seat. Alternative seats will be made available to those fans affected. The game takes place on Tuesday 27 March, kicking off at 8pm and tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £10 for under-16s and over-65s. Black Cats Bar seats priced at £40 and hospitality prices are available upon request. Supporters who have renewed or bought a new season card for 2012-13 can also buy an additional adult ticket for £10 or an under 16 seat for £5, when purchasing a full price ticket. This offer will be available until midday on the day of the game and is only available by telephone or from the Stadium of Light ticket office. Season card holders have until 5pm on Thursday 22 March to purchase their seat before unsold season card seats go on general sale.
Me and my boys normally sit in the South East Corner, and I've just been over to get my tickets and was offered the alternatives of The Premier Concourse or the front of the North Stand, and I took the North Stand option.... The bloody queue was massive and I'm back on nightshift tonight, so a cup of tea and then off to kip for me now...
I'm heading over shortly to have a word about my Season Ticket so may go a little earlier!! Am going in the morning for my FA Cup tickets as I'm skint until then - I think the 2 tickets for £30 is an excellent offer and I already have 2 people wanting to go with mine and my dads extra ticket! Hope there's >45000 there Can we re-sign Gordon Armstrong just for the corner in the last 5 minutes...
just looking at stadium plan, by the looks of it, apart from the very front seats, the rest is practically sold out! atmosphere is gonna be epic!
I wonder if Everton will sell all of their allocation? And if they don't, will the ones they don't sell be made available to Sunderland fans?
I got my ticket online as soon at about half 10 yesterday morning, two together in the east stand. dont care where the seats are just buzzing for the match.
The official safc Facebook page has just posted some pics and the quees look massive and one fan commented that he waited and hour n a half before he even made it inside the ticket office. Cracking stuff, I said a replay could well be the best outcome as it could get fans returning that haven't been for a while. Hope im right
I am sure an Everton fan said their allocation of tickets had been sold. But even if they weren't I can't see them being made available to Sunderland fans. There's no guarantee any unsold tickets would be all in the same place. There would be maybe one in one row and three in another etc. Which would make if impossible for the fans to be policed. What if, heaven forbid, a fight broke out there would be mayhem.
