    Dam I forgot about that.
This Cup run must be bringing plenty of money into the club. Hopefully we'll be on Ch5 next year!

We don't really make much money off the FA Cup, prize money is really low for each round and only really benefits clubs from league 1 down. Obviously we will have gate reciepts and TV money as well but I really don't think all that together will have had any significant impact on our finances.

Indirectly a cup campaign could have a huge impact on finances, as it raises our profile which can have a knock-on effect on advertising and merchandise sales..

As well as financial benefits it also has the effect of giving us the chance to twat both sets of scousers in one competition!

It's not that bad, with us having earned £337,500 so far, plus another £360,000 if we beat Everton, and a further £450,000 guaranteed just for reaching the semifinal.

Some may consider this an insignificant sum of money, but I'll bet the club accountants think very differently.

And on top of that is our share of the gate receipts and the TV money.
