    morning folks

    Lovely day in yorkshire

I'm going to go for DARNA 3.30 EXETER for Kim Bailey - been off for 103 days since pulling up after going wrong! had a wind op since and with bailey having 4 winners in the last 14 days out of 14 runners i'll go for him as value against MUSH MIR.

5.10 KEMPTON DARING INDIAN - Up in trip after a break, still unexposed especially stepping up with improvement should take this!

    Best of luck

Frosty Friday 14:50 Southwell Maiden race with a short price fave in Clayton who will be having his first run under rules for Kevin Ryan who may have this one ready for today. But i'd rather just watch Clayton run today as he may need the run and Frosty Friday has consistent if not spectacular form, dropping back to 1m today from 1m 3f the last day when readily beaten should suit as he ran some credible races over a mile last season(3rd behind multiple winner over CD), i fully expect the horse to get his head in front today in what is a very average race.

    Goodluck to everyone.

A little help from the forum if i may...

4.10 @ Kempton has a runner Finesse and the form line say 'Could not find dam'...

Is this unusaul or dos it occur more often...? I always thought that it would be very easy to track the dam and sires, especially from a 3 year old...

    Any pointers much appreciated...

    3.20 Southwell: Bengaline 20/1 0.5pt e.w

A field of 8 where Scott Dixon runs 3 horses. Bengaline bombed out last time, but seemingly people have overlooked that it was over 7f for the first time on fibresand, and for a horse who can be pretty keen early, Southwell's 7f of sinking sand obviously proved too much. If we look a bit further back in the form, we see a bit of reason for optimism. Was 2nd here in November behind Wicked Wench having settled better and disputed the lead for most of the way, who is running respectable off marks of around 70, and that was of level weights. Today Bengaline runs off 59 but also has a 3lb claim from Ryan Clark, so he takes on the 70 rated horses in this field receiving a stone. Back to 6f today

In August, Bengaline was a narrow 2nd here at Southwell over todays course and distance 6f and actually finished ahead of stablemate Scrooby Doo, giving weight away (8lb) in the process. Today Bengaline receives a stone from that runner, so is no less than 22lb better off in the weights for BEATING that horse just under 2 lengths.

It's not a race to get carried away with and it is easy to have doubts about Bengaline, but if you can put a line through the runs where he has been too keen, his best foot forward gives him every chance of an upset and is worth chancing at an each-way price.
