    TBH personally Perch has impressed me in recent games, would not be upset to see him leave but not happy either, Smudger, McLovin out of contract will go, does anyone know how much of the wage bill that will free up?

    Guthrie, Forster, Simmo will go unless new contracts can be sorted.

    Ba and Tiote are the only 2 I would be worried about leaving but if the price is right and suitable replacements are found...

    I'd say Mclovin will be on 15-20k and Smith we know is on 60k so enough for 3 cabayes.... :)

    Smith, Lovenkrands obviously need to go. Perch is a funny one. 6 months ago yes, but until we have real cover for Tiote, he is our best bet in there. Again yesterday he was man of the match for me. Put out all the fires and had a really solid game. Ranger has plenty of talent but I think we all know it will never be realised so he might aswell go.

    Guthrie we need to retain. Forster it would be nice to but nobody is moving Krul and I don't think there is much you can do about him. He's Celtic bound and maybe sold with a first option clause is the way to go. With us needing a left back badly, I see Simpson moving on. He ain't going to be happy playing 2nd fiddle to Santon which he will clearly have to when he moves over. Tavanier, Ferguson and Raylor can cover the full back roles. We could really do with 2 centre backs in the summer. Williamson is just not up to the level.

    My wishes would be 2 centre backs, maybe one older or at least 24 plus and one younger. We need a left back obviously. A right midfielder and cover for Tiote would be nice also. If we could move 4 or 5 out and get those in we'd be a lot better off.

    Ranger may very well be one of the worst players, but it is you sorry lot who have THE worst...step forward Mr Mertesacker.

    For the record, Newcastle fans, I watched your game yesterday vs Norwich. You did look off the pace after the first 10 minutes but Perch was solid in midfield, I don't see why he has haters amongst you.

    Perch when he has been asked to do a job has come in and done. He isnt getting booked as much as he did, only 1 booking this season.

    Bam Bam your knowledge of football is unbelievable. The lack of it that is.
    Hazard and Sow being available? When, it will take 30 million to get Hazard, and half that to get Sow, and of course they will sign for a team that has just come out of the championship, slowly re-establishing themselves, who by all our admissions have over achieved this year, when they could go to almost any club in Europe.
    As for Pardew, he has made mistakes, but seems to learn from them. Why would Tiote leave, he enjoys it here and has never craved to be a "big time charlie".

    I was jus about to start a thread about how yesterday's win was down to the slated men - - you know, the one's who have whole groups of "fans" who like nothing better than to say they're ****e, no matter what they do: Perch, Ameobi and, to a lesser extent, Simpson.

    Perch was flawless. Ameobi changed the game from one in which we were constantly under pressure in our half to one which we quietly saw out in there half. Simpson had an perfectly adequate game.

    Can't beleive there's a thread here saying they need to be cleared out

    Perch has been more than acceptable in the team since the turn of the year. He can also play anywhere.

    To call him **** is idiotic. You not watch yesterdays motm performance?

    Perch was excellent yesterday. If some people can't see that then they are watching different games. I had him as comfortably our best player followed by Jonas. Colo was very good also with clown feet beside him.

    I have to say Ameobi is starting to freak me out. For the first time in his career here he has strung two or three performances together, whether from the bench or the start. It may have taken 10 years, but if the penny has dropped, he is a useful option.

    Shola really put himself about yesterday, looked big and strong and held the ball well.

    For me he was the key to us keeping the lead. The whole second half was played on the backfoot, with the ball coming back off our front two as soon as we could clear it - - 0 possession, constatn pressure. Shola came on and the rest of the match was played, a bit boringly, in thier half. Shola didn't do a whole lot with the ball, but he kept it. If the final throw in the Arsenal match had been to the big man with the strangely shambling feet, he would have still been wandering around with it, looking like he might fall over at any moment, when the final whistle sounded

    Why? Sounds like people are looking at the bigger picture rather than being taken in by 1 or 2 decent performances.

    Fact is all 3 of them are at best bottom 5 Premier League players. Sure, they're honest enough pros and Perch in particular had an outstanding game yesterday but the fact is none of them are good enough if we want to go forward. Don't know why you've taken the idea of people not wanting these 3 players long term to heart.

    Because:

    a. Perch has played between well and excellently every time he has been asked to play this year,despite being asked to play a wide variety of positions;

    b. Shola has recently been one of our most reliable players;

    c. Simpson is probably the best full back we have. Santon is likely to be better some day, bit that day isn't today. Raylor is not really a full back and we have no one else. Therefore, unless we are going to buy three full backs all of whom are better than Simpson, it would be foolish to sell him.

    Perch is proving a lot of doubter's like myself wrong.
    Does anyone think he could come in at CB as Williamson imo is dreadful at the moment.
