    Qpr to assess Taarabt strain

    QPR will assess Adel Taarabt’s minor hamstring problem in training early next week.

    Rangers expected the Moroccan to be passed fit for last weekend’s defeat at Bolton but he was not able to take his place in the squad.

    He is hoping to return for the home game against Liverpool on Wednesday, when Mark Hughes’ side will be looking for their first win in eight games.

    DJ Campbell has been struggling with a more serious hamstring injury but appears to be making some progress.

    Fellow forward Heidar Helguson hopes to return to contention soon following a spell out with a groin problem.

    Don't mind Taarabt's strain. The Mother-Fu*ker has been a strain on us fans all season.
