Great player for us. Still to see the best of him at this level but his class will tell in the end. Really want him to sign.

Think he will. Just bought a house here which kind of shows an intent.

he's a legend here, in a team playing well and going places, so be silly to leave. i think he'll stay.

He scored 3 in the play off final <doh> hope he signs a new 3-4 year contract for us he is a top class player , and though hasn't scored a lot this season he has made the step up.

    You wasn't at Wembley.

Over 20 goals last season. The main man that got us promotion to the Premier League without a doubt. Others like Dobbie contributed but it's hard to imagine we'd have made it without Scott Sinclair, and Rodgers has said so openly.

So yes, to us he is a legend.

Sinclair is definitely a legend, he's given me many happy memories and is a true gent and a credit to the game. I hope he signs this as he's a brilliant player with that ability to do something brilliant which can win a game. I know he's been critasized a little bit lately but every player has a bad patch. Remember Dyer had a bad patch around the time of the Liverpool match was dropped as a result Look at him recently (red card excluded) he's been flying. I thought Sinclair had a brilliant match against Fulham despite missing that chance late on.

Sorry musty but youve got to call him a legend....he was instrumental in giving us our biggest platform in our history,so if scotty isnt a legend,we as a club simply dont have any.

Scott Sinclair's not very popular though for a "legend" is he? I mean, Trundle was more popular in the 4th division days.

He is one of our legends. We simply would not be where we are were it not for our Scotty.

Legend is an accolade too cheaply thrown around these days. Scotty has been great for us and his goals were instrumental in getting us where we are now but it takes years of dedicated, highly successful service to achieve legendary status.

I desperately hope he signs his new contract because he is a vital part of who we are right now. OK, he hasn't hit the heights of last season but no surprise there given the higher quality of player (and teams) that he now faces. Nevertheless, he is still contributing in a big way and focuses attention from the opposition because they just can't afford to ignore him.

Legend? No, not yet but highly valued all the same.

I disagree. Trundle was a good player in the lower leagues. An entertainer who was rightly loved for it. He didn't deliver top flight football and he left us when a better offer came along.

Without Sinclair we wouldn't have Prem football (unless you can think of anyone else who could have scored all those goals last season). We wouldn't have a full stadium. We wouldn't be talking about expansion. We wouldn't be lauded by the media every five minutes. Most importantly, we wouldn't be £90M better off as a club.

You don't have to be with us for years to achieve legendary status imo (though it helps). It's what you achieve during your time here and what you give to the Club.

    Legend? You'd better believe it.

No he didn't. But he is living 12,000 miles away in fairness.

The Final was the Sinclair/ Dobbie show for me. The latter was particularly outstanding imo.

Legends aren't built on a single trip to Wembley or a single season with a team , legends are built on such things as playing all 4 divisions for a team . The idea that were only in the Premier because of Sinclair is unfair to many players

something tells me he will hold the club to ransom here.....did he sign a 3 year deal when he joined? if so he's got only 1 year left after this season....

i wouldnt expect him to sign out of loyalty, he went to chelsea for the money when he was 16 or 17 from bristol rovers...

however if he's got more than one brain cell then he'll do the decent thing and continue to play first team football rather than chase the money again <ok>

we're only in the premier league because of what happened at wembley, and yes it is a team game, but it's the goalscorers who get most of the plaudits. they're all legends in my eye's but it's only scott we're talking about here.
