Skysports say the hospital is reporting that he is now in a stable condition, looks like they got to him quick enough, too early to say anything else, but better news.

Brilliant news. I've always rated the lad, and from what I've heard he's lived a hard enough life, would be delighted to see him pull through.

If you are going to have a heart attack do it at a football ground as you will get treated fast and have the best chance of survival. Hope he fully recovers.

With all we they put us through, Saints should have a special hospital suite for fans and smelling salts issued with every ticket.

I think he will be grateful to just be alive at the moment - playing football comes a very distant second.

Thoughts with everyone involved. Seriously hope he pulls through. Football doesn't matter today.

Although JoeyB says he'll never play football again, it appeared for a fair while that he would never see another sunrise again. He's been stabilised, and although it is indeed unlikely he'll never play to the same high fitness level, you never know. Adam Lallana had a heart defect, which was successfully operated on, so we shall see. I think the most important thing to consider is the player's health, never mind his future in football. Once stabilised, the next 24 hours are critical. We can only hope.

My thoughts are with Fabrice and his family and this time. 23 is no age for a young man at the peak of his physical health to suffer this, and I really hope he pulls through. Unfortnately it seems that he has turned for the worst in the past couple of hours, so again I really hope he can recover.

Sometimes "On The Bus", you should just let the Big Man attitude go. I think everyone knows what was meant by that sentiment and if you really don't care that a 23 year old young, professional footballer has had a heart attack infront of millions of people, and can't bring it upon yourself to show a little humility, dignity and common courtesy, then you should just refrain from typing.

Such an un-neccessary comment, no matter what the message you were trying to portray.
