Just collapsed on the pitch at white hart lane, had CPR, stretchered off and the games been suspended. Hope he's ok but it sounds really bad. Get well soon and hope he recovers fully <ok>

Now abandoned at 41 minutes. Must be a heart attack or stroke, I hope he's alive and kicking because it's clearly very serious. Thoughts with him his family and friends.

A lot of players seem to suffer this.

I hate it when pundits will commentate on anything to keep the media juggernaut going. ESPN should have cut the show as soon as it was abandoned - no one is interested in any "insight" into what could be the saddest and most devastating end to a game of football. God, I hope that kid is OK tomorrow morning.

he just fell over, no one anywhere near him... the medics ran over pretty quickly once they realised what was happening I fear no news is bad news

They used a defibrillator on him twice on the pitch, it's looking really bad.

    I can't believe I was reading this.

I was having a poke round some old football vids on Youtube a couple of days ago, and I came accross a tribute to Miklos Feher, he's another one who was seemingly healthy and just went down on the pitch. It was the same condition that took Marc-Vivien Foe.

It's incredible how many fit, healthy players have this time bomb in them. Apparently it's some congenital heart defect.

    Thoughts are with Muamba.

I don't want to detrac from the sentiment of the thread, but it was an FA cup game anyway nick so wouldn't have spoilt your motd viewing.

To be fair FA Cup games are shown on MOTD.....

No news in a long time, you would think if there was good news something would have being said. Lets hope.
