    Looking at that replay Pearl Swan was gonna get in the shake-up there. Would have kept me in the damn placepot as well!

    Fair play to the winner though lads - turned the form around with Hisaabaat and Hollow Tree. I think he will turn out to be the best stayer in the race (or the furthest forward at this stage of his career)

    Will Boston Bob be the only favourite who wins today? Layers on the exchanges will be opposing both Long Run and Kauto - not sure if there was lots of layers on the exchanges on Kauto and Denman in the 2010 Gold Cup, looked to be a two horse race at the time.

    Put my free bet on Ted Spread here or the County, I think he'll have been nicely sharpened up by last weeks race at Sandown provided it hasn't come too soon for him.
