There has been a thread on our official forum about things we would like to see in the new stadium to make it unique and meet the needs of all fans. Thought I would bring it across to here to see what your opinions are. What would you like to see in the new stadium. How about a wall dedicated to our "legends" over the years? Or names of our previous managers as the name of our boxes? (eg The Buckle Room ;)) How about a artificial pitch?

Tell us what YOU want to see gasheads <ok>

There was some talk a few months ago about some relaxation of the
rules/laws regarding standing at football matches in terraced areas.
If 'doable' it would be good to have an area where seats can be removed
    and terracing installed.

I would like to see some safe standing areas. If we name various boxes & function rooms after previous managers then the toilet cubicles would have interesting names. :)

    Trap 1, the Buckle room

Trap 2, the Penny room etc

Further to this we can name the urinals after ****head players as we always piss over them <cool>

Not a wum, I even think this about our stadium!

This ground could end up being like the Ricoh stadium, I went there last year and thought the Coventry support was awfull all you could see was empty seats it just looked empty. Then when they said the attendance and it was more than we get at the moment!

Trust me sometimes it is nice to have a good size stadium but only when you have a support to fill at least 2/3 of the stadium. Over wise it just becomes like when ever you see the riverside on TV you wonder where are the fans!

Gone are the days when both of our clubs used to have lots of support filling both stadiums when you were in Eastville.

I hope the marketing behind both of these ventures is there to entice the fans into these grounds. With season tickets 5 year plans etc

Working for a large heavy construction supplier, I hope both these get the go ahead.

ROD thats why our stadium will be on the smaller side to begin with. the way it will be built will allow further construction work to add more tiers increasing capacity as and when needed. stadium needs to be done in order to progress. were showing ambition for once! also, starting small makes sense as if its small the locals wont complain as much during planning permission stages (which you know about).

there is already 1 bit of marketing happening....

im hoping there will be a concourse at the back where we can have good standard food and drinks at cheaper prices. the club needs to look into this as if they can get more fans using the food and drink inside the stadium rather than places outside then they get more revenue. i wouldnt mind standing in the concourse with my mates having a pint than go to a pub. also have screens in the concourse so when your out there you can still see the game on the screen so you dont miss anything.

That's the way to do it, as I said it wasn't a WUM.

I hope that we do a similar marketing idea, as I believe Cardiff done everything correct in their scheme!

Also any major construction keeps me a happy worker :)
