Just remembered Fran, the Isle of Wight has a history in testing the rockets for intercontinental ballistic missiles [and the peaceful stuff too]. Just pop along to the Needles/Freshwater.
Thanks for your support tonight Saints fans. We were doing ok until Reading started to play dirty because they saw they couldn't win fairly. Well it's your turn to face face us on the 24th. How do you fancy your chances. Good luck with your promotion efforts but the 24th may see them have a knock.
Well done Spike hard to stop a team that's won 8 in a row and you did beat us at home I was there However we are a different animal at home and I fully expect 3 points.
I'm not looking forward to playing your boys,I think it will be a tough match, you've got some good players there. I find it funny that Diouf is playing at Doncaster (no disrespect) shows that he isn't doing it for the money.
Attempts were made to deliver mail by rocket as well. The fuel line for invasion of Europe started in Shanklin (the Pluto project). Nothing if not innovative on the IOW.
Really..? I thought that experiment only happened in the Scottish Isles. Heard about the Pluto Project. Didn't know the fuel line started at Shanklin. I shall have to look that up.
Mail by rocket was tested in Sussex and Scottish Islands, but the last attempt was made from Isle of Wight.
I don't know why they didn't get that to work first time, ages ago! I mean, it's not rocket science.....
Read this article, it explains why Diouf is at Doncaster: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16322364
