It makes a difference when You've played without Lucas all season Also our weakened players don't cost 35m And Kelly is better than Johnson! He was immense tonight Whereas 3 of our players who came him have a combined total of 20 minutes football in the last 3 months.
Good game thought it was played with good spirt from both sides.. I only have the games on the radio as im to poor anyone know a iphone site where i could get to see the goals.. Gerrard worked his bollocks of today... Well done lad.. Lets get that sixth spot look forward and hopefully the world is our oyster same team for sunday gents ??
Didn't Everton come into this game on the back of a nine game unbeaten streak appose to our three consecutive losses...? Just saying...
Except for reserve games of course.....Most of them played against us alst week, and to be fair, they didnt look at their best then....If you win on the weekend though Moyes has justified his selection..... The squad does make a difference and we are lucky to have the players to come in that we do...(In certain areas.) Although we havd had Lucas a while. Tonight was one of the first games we have won without him
I think it shows how much moyes cared about tonights game ". If I'd had a draw against Liverpool and a draw agasint Tottenham at the weekend I may have taken that - but I've got three points, not two."" ****ing disgraceful.
How? We made 6 changes, the majority of which hadn't played in that run. Unless i'm missing something?
Playing like that? You think you get past the Mackems? Martin O'Neil was pissing himself with laughter in the box
Any team other than Liverpool and you would have been happy with three points rather than two, you would have taken three rather than two before the games kicked off. The only difference is it is a derby game. His comments do not mean he didn't want to win the match either.
Do you realise you're making a right dick of yourself moaning on a shared thread? Do you want to show me any other manager in the world who could have done what he has done over the last 10 years, while working under that ****ing clown Kenwright??
They showed that he was happy to play for a draw, despite going on record yesterday saying he'd go for a win. It means much more than points.
You have been getting results whilst these players were either injured or returning from injury, there wasn't a problem then. Suddenly, after a loss, it is an issue. Nobody forced Moyes to select these players and, as already pointed out, we have players missing too. We both played at 3pm on Saturday so have had just as much recovery time but I will grant that we have an extra days rest before our next day. Why not show a bit of decency and offer congratulations to the winning team rather than pick the bones...?
That's the annoying thing... Just because he's done so well doesn't mean he is immune from criticism.
