I'm sure we've done that right back from the BP days and it was one of the things people wanted keeping (didn't Martyn Hainstock get bollocked at one of our early games at the KC for calling the East Stand kempton?). What's changed?
Maybe the club could directly or indirectly employ song starter to fire up and get the crowd pumped dotted all along the east and around the south. I'd imagine there's quite a few who would be willing to look a tit of themselves being a black sheep for nothing more than free membership and/or free beer token or something of the sorts. Also we could ask about the painfully slow tempo we play, and why we don't ever seem to quickly hit teams on the counter. That's a big one for me.
That's down to the supporters though not management. Suppose we could ask them to employ Brownie as leader of the Kareoke <smile>
Not sure why so many of our fans adopt such a hostile and confrontational attitude to the club's personnel. Some of the questions on this thread are embarrassingly stupid and will consequently irritate the club
a couple of lines of enquiry Mr B: * Progress on new academy and future location? * Will we still be 'self-sufficient' by the Summer as has been previously suggested (ie debt free, etc)? * Is anything happening on the Circle buy-out or is the project dead till or if we get into the Prem? * Therefore, is Melton still be viablewithout the likes of Tescos at Welton? * When Mr Allam bought the club, he indicated that local investors would be enlisted. I believe Richardson was mooted? Progress? Other names? * Will Mr McQuire be replaced, and if not what was he doing when he was here as nobody appears to be doing the job full-time now? On the team/player side * why has the reserves and juniors highlights dried up on City Player? * would anyone at the club describe City Player as value for money for anyone but exiled fans?
Ans. He is a politician, and it's the sort of thing they do. Qu. Why do we play the 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 system when we don't have a striker who can benefit from it? Qu. The pitch, what can we do, especially now that we cannot move FC to Ionians ground as per Adams master plan?
I don't get all this 'we don't have a striker for the formation' business. I think if you take Fryatt's strengths into account (and McLean's in fact) the job he is doing now is the best he can give us. He runs his tits off and opens space up. He obviously has no support, so what do people expect him to do? I'm aware that I've criticised his finishing before, so please no one point that out as it's totally irrelevant to this point.
Answer to be given by them: We think the strikers we have can play in it and the goals will come. Real answer: It's the system we want to play long term. We'd rather have 10 of the team used to playing it and bring a striker in over the summer who can just drop right into it than wait until then and spend the first half of next season trying to get the whole team used to playing it.
Olm Where do we send our questions in to? As a premier club member i haven't recieved anything about this as of yet..... Limited tickets?
I've got a question for the management of Look North; Why didn't you show City's goals for all the non-Sky people out there? Eh? Why? I feel defeated.
You should have received an email from Heidi, with the question form attached, drop her a line, I'm sure she'll sort it. [email protected]
Also you've got Paul Robinson born and bred in Beverley / Leconfield, played with him between the ages of 6 and 12 for Leconfield primary school and some Leconfield sunday team I can't remember the name of, also David Prutton's a Hull lad who was the year below at school, both of whom ended up apprenticing outside of East Yorks at Leeds and Forrest
