Suarez living off-side, Carroll living in the sweepers position, Henderson living off his nerves. Kelly doing all he can to muddy the argument that he's the better defender, while Johnston is better going forward. Do you think Spearing could do more than he does? He does his job, but he is not going to be the next Gerrard if he only does that. Defence is great, as usual, not that great going forward, as usual... We need to get at least one more!
Off topic slighty but Basel went into thier game with Bayern 1-0 up from the first leg... Bayern are now 4-0 up!
Been saying for weeks we need Gerrard back to add goals to the midfield. Jaggers in mixed thoughts allowed the goal though (obviously, just pointed out on TV replays too)
I'd be surprised if Everton don't score tonight. We could do with another sooner rather than later. Watching our goal back there, it was a very nice move from back to front especially the Suarez-Henderson one-two.

Harsh. Been tracking runners, working hard and is passing well, he even got in the box a couple of times. Who will be...? Gerrard is a rare player, not many come through of his quality. I am happy for Spearing to sit and do his job, we need that solidarity in the side. It allows Gerrard that bit more freedom too.
