Is it normal for the without market to be taken away as betting option with more than 10mins to race?

Couldn't get Kentford on at 11/2, had to back it e/w instead.

What a lovely lovely mare... brilliant performance with them all lining all up to get her.

Terribly sad to hear about ScotsIrish & Garde Champetre have loved seeing these 2 horses especially the later condolences to connections, I imagine nina is feeling terribly atm.

Well done Stick - she's going places.

What's the general consensus about the Mullins horses? Are they running 10 lbs below form or have we just over egged the pie a little about Hurricane Fly?

I thin they're all running below par - including Quevega.

Quevega was not helped by the crawl they went at. Once she needed to, she quickened and scorched away.

Not sure what to make with Mullins. That Midnight Game thing where Davy Russell left him alone because of poor homework looks significant now though, especially given how Ruby jumped on Prospect Wells. There is a chance some of them aren't firing.

Impossible to say on just today performance Quel, too many times have I said a trainer is out of form for them to come back and win big races later in the festival.

It's not just today though Nass. He's been hit and miss all season. I think Dex has picked up on this already. I need to see improvement before the Albert Bartlett otherwise i'll be laying off the Boston Bob bet.

Still, when you lose horses like we have today, you realise that money is **** all, the sport and the love is more important.

Hit and miss is very different to the yard not running to form. He has the form in the book in previous weeks to suggest that all is fine and perhaps its a few horses who are not running to form. If the run continues with poor efforts tomorrow then I may start worrying about it. Look at Nicholls, we all thought he could be in a mess at Chelts and he already has the Champion Hurdle crown <laugh>

Great shout Toppy. Brilliant. Can't believe the pay out when you consider all the shorties are in that bet.
